Ras Kuuku calls out music industry for not appreciating him & Yaa Pono

Reggae and dancehall artist Ras Kuuku expressed frustration over the lack of recognition he and fellow artist Yaa Pono receive in Ghana's music industry.

In an interview with Hitz FM, he lamented feeling sidelined despite years of contributions and mentoring young artists.

Kuuku, a 2020 TGMA “Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year” winner, shared that many artists he helped groom fail to acknowledge him after achieving fame.

He also praised his live performance skills, claiming he is unmatched in Ghana, whether performing with a live band or over a beat.

Kuuku’s remarks underscore his disappointment in the industry's lack of appreciation for him and Yaa Pono.
