Renowned Ghanaian musician, Rex Omar, explained why Ghanaian contestants Afronita and Abigail didn't win Britain’s Got Talent.
He stated the show's focus is on British talents, putting non-British contestants at a disadvantage.
Omar urged Ghana to invest in its creative economy, proposing the establishment of platforms like “Ghana’s Got Talent” to showcase local talents.
He emphasized the importance of prioritizing the creative sector, spanning music, fashion, film, and more.
Without such investment, Ghana risks falling behind globally, Omar warned, labeling it as "cultural warfare."
He stressed the need to nurture and promote homegrown talents for international recognition and success.
