Samira Bawumia, Funny Face mark World Book Day with kids

Enterprise House in Accra welcome the VEEP’s wife Samira Buwumia and kids from scores of schools as they were entertained by Funny Face.

The event organized by Samira Bawumia Empowerment and Humanitarian project a non-profitable organization empowered kids from different schools to read more.

Mrs. Bawumia took to her Facebook Page “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr. Seuss.

She continued that “reading creates dreamers and thinkers, critical for the development of any nation. Today, on World Book Day, I urge all of us to pick up a book and immerse ourselves into the vast world of imagination. Let us become a nation of readers. Happy World Book Day”.

For his part Children’s President, Funny Face known in real life as Benson Ohene Boateng thanked H.E Samira Bawumia for inviting him to entertain and educate the kids.

He advised the kids to take their books serious and learn hard to become great future leaders of the country.
