Rap beef or battles have been a part of hip-hop since the genre’s inception.
In Ghana, the situation is no different as the industry has in times past had its fair share of beef.
Following the release of his diss song, ‘Sub Zero’ barely a week ago, rapper, Sarkodie has been the target of lyrical attacks and diss songs from other musicians.
Rapper, Asem has been spending his energy, Punching and throwing lyrical jabs at Ghana’s king of rap – Sarkodie
In a swift response, ‘La Familia’ rapper, Joey B asked “For What again? Mike Jai," signalling he is not in support of what Sarkodie intends doing.
Responding to Sarkodie’s ‘Sub Zero’ diss, producer and rapper, Ball J in a song titled ‘Lullaby’ reduced Sarkodie to size, describing King Sark as “a tool in his math set but definitely not the ruler he thinks he is.”
Appearing more ridiculous was a line that said Sarkodie and his fans won’t even understand the song because it’s in English.
Well, it appears Sarkodie is still licking his wounds and looking for the opportunity to hit back at Ball J, Asem and all those dissing him.
A tweet by the rapper sighted by Konxeptworae.com read “Need hard hip hop Beats.”
