VGMAs: DJ Mensah picks Eno Barony over Sarkodie

Rapper Eno Barony has received the backing of one Ghana’s most celebrated DJs to win the best rapper award at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Eno Barony is the only female among six musicians gunning for the coveted award that has for the past two decades been the preserve of men.

As the argument continues to wage on who deserves the crown, award-winning DJ and personal DJ of Sarkodie, DJ Mensah has tipped Eno to nick it over the men.

Commenting on a post by Eno on her Instagram page, DJ Mensah said although the category is an assembly of Ghana’s finest rappers, he is of the conviction that Eno deserves.

Interestingly, he picked Eno over his artiste Sarkodie who has a nomination with his track ‘Bleeding’.
