Sensational Afro-pop singer Victoria Kimani has landed a major endorsement deal with Maybelline New York, one of the world’s leading cosmetic brands.
The songstress will be the face of the global cosmetic giant, joining the likes of Jourdan Dunn and Gigi Hadid.
Victoria is also the first African artist to partner with the brand, setting a new precedent for African artists in both the music and business world.
Taking to Instagram to break the news, the ‘China Love’ hitmaker thanked Maybelline for the opportunity which she termed as an honor, further adding that her love for makeup was one of the reasons why she chose to work with Maybelline.
“My first endorsement deal guys! I’m so glad to finally announce that you are looking at the new face, the IT GIRL (Brand Ambassador) for Maybelline NY,” she wrote.
Maybelline, which has a strong presence in Kenya, is owned by French multinational L’Oréal and was started in 1915 by Thomas Lyle Williams.
