Yvonne Nelson sends cheeky message to NDC

In Ghana’s elections history, Volta Region is known for voting massively for biggest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC).

However, following series of reports that roads in the Volta Region are in deplorable state, Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson who is also a political critic, has questioned why people from Volta Region vote for the biggest opposition party NDC without results.

Yvonne Nelson uttered some strong words to people who voted massively in Volta region, but can’t boost of good roads.

In a post on her twitter handle, she expressed shock over the bad state of roads in the region. The actress explained that, “one can easily die on such roads”. She complained particularly about the road network from Akosombo to Ho in the Volta Region.

According to Yvonne Nelson, when using the bad roads in the Volta Region, one need to swerved potholes like playing football.

“By the way, VOLTA REGION, i am shocked!!!! After all your strong votes and numbers, your major road network from akosombo to Ho is terrible, one can easily die on this road! I can’t believe it, we swerved potholes like playing football,” she wrote.
