It is quite palpable that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and their cocaine leader Akuffo-Addo, on the eve of the general elections, has adopted a policy of dodging pertinent questions and instead diverting public attention to some distorted matters of the past, which has no relevance to any of the pressing issues of today. A glance through “a copy of the minutes of a meeting by some top officials of the party, which has been intercepted and has now become a public “property”, more than reveals this strategy which, unfortunately for the party, can work on the minds of its gullible fanatics and turn out to be a foolish ploy, easily discernable by intelligent Ghanaians. THEY LIE BAD… This criminal and vocational lawyer called Nana Akuffo-Addo seems to insult our core intelligence with his worthless promises. WHY OH WHY….ANSWER US…WEETSE….CRACK HEAD
when was the last time the NPP fulfilled any promise or delivered on any of their promises? WHY OH WHY……ALAKPATOR
The fight against corruption has been utterly lost, armed robbery is the vocation in fashion, relocation has gained increment as a result of this ruthless economy, gay prostitution is boldly advertised, drugs has become an epidemic and the list goes on and on. WHY OH WHY….AMALELOR…NANA NIE…COCAINE NIE... NANA… NIE COCAINE NIE…
But when asked about what they did for the past 7 and half years in office, they simply answer by saying that they were on course borrowing and spending it on trivia or inconsequential endeavors.
And they want the good people of Ghana to grant them another term in office? We the people say hell no to that. Cocaine-dealing," as in £38 million worth of cocaine being smuggled through Ghana getting "lost" under the "watchful" eyes of the NPP Government. This just one time, there are series of that ANANSE STORY. OH MY GOD HAVE MERCY ON US…
Anyone can articulate policies on narcotic drugs. Akuffo-Addo please answer the following question before thinking about saying anything to the good people of Ghana. We are tired of your arrogant attitude. ANSWER US NOW….KRONFOO…
Even Tagor and Kiki Djan can do so brilliantly! What matters really is not the blabbering out of policies- it is the moral attribute of the personality enunciating the policy. This, more than anything, is what will inspire the nation to rally together to fight this hydra headed narcotic crisis, that has become the nation's biggest headache since the NPP assumed the reins of power in 2001.WHY OH WHY…JULOR KWAKWE
Does Nana Akufo Addo have the necessary moral quality to lead this all important fight? The jury is still out there as long as Akufo Addo continues to run away from the all important questions that are being posed by the good people of Ghana.
If Nana Akufo Addo wants the nation to take serious his so called policies to combat drugs and crime, he must first have the courage to answer those vital questions that have been posed for months and that are still begging for answers.
Last time, the haggard NPP candidate, while delivering the keynote address at a programme organized by his cousin, Gabby Okyere Darko's Danquah Institute, tried in vain to convince Ghanaians that he had what it takes to make the nation safe from the drug menace and the concomitant crime scourge. FALLACY….TOLE…
Setting aside for a moment, Nana Akufo Addo's caginess to tell the nation in which educational institution(s) people interested in his biographical journey, could locate him, between the times he finished secondary school in 1958 up till he entered the University of Ghana in 1964, let us ask the NPP candidate to provide answers to the following questions.
Why did Akufo Addo, as Attorney General, oversee the de-confiscation of frozen assets of Raymond Amankwah, a world reputed Cocaine Baron? Were the narcotics-tainted assets of his brother-in-law, Mr Raymond Amankwah, - the same Raymond Amankwah now incarcerated abroad for allegedly dealing in illicit drugs - actually deconfiscated while Nana Akuffo Addo was our attorney general? NANA IS A DRUG BARON…
Did he not know that by literally presiding over that act, a terrible example was set and cocaine barons all over the globe were sent a signal that the new government of Ghana had no problem with the trafficking of narcotic drugs? HE IS CARELESS…
Did the fact that Raymond Amankwah was a relative of Akufo Addo in anyway influence that decision? YES OF COURSE…
Was Raymond Amankwah until his recent arrest in Brazil, not associated with Akufo Addo's campaign? AKUFFO-ADDO WHY OH WHY
Was Akufo Addo not the Attorney General in the year 2001, when the state prosecution of Frank Benneh was suddenly discontinued? Why was the prosecution of Frank Benneh stopped while Nana Akuffo Addo was our Attorney General - a criminal prosecution mounted by the NDC government as a result of his alleged involvement in dealing in illegal drugs while serving the nation abroad? COME CLEAN NANA…
Why did he so mysteriously stop a case that NDC's Deputy Attorney General, Martin Amidu prosecute so relentlessly until NPP took over the reins of office?
Does Akufo Addo know that the discontinuation of that famous case was another strong signal of his own lack of political commitment to fight the drug menace and the indication of the weakness of NPP's resolve to deal with the canker?
What about the the three NPP Dzorwulu branch executives who were busted with narcotics at Kotoka in February 2002 when Akufo Addo was Attorney General? Is it not interesting that under his tenure as AG, all those three arrested NPP drug queens just vanished into thin air? Their dockets also just disappeared like magic? The non-prosecution of the drug case involving the arrest in February 2002 of Abena Oforiwaa, Comfort Akua Amankwah and Amma Nyarkoah, chairperson, organizer and treasurer, respectively, of the Dzorwulu branch of his New Patriotic Party. Why should this scandalous case simply vanish from the judicial radar? Looked at from another angle, can any commonsensical Ghanaian induce the world whether Eric Amoateng would have been investigated and prosecuted had he been arrested in Ghana? We don’t want to believe that the administration of criminal justice has been turned into a partisan political weapon where one is either prosecuted or not depending on his connection to the citadel of power. Standing up for justice does mean setting your political friends free for the most serious of crimes while pursuing your perceived or real political enemies! It is really chilling that a whole ex-attorney general and ex-foreign minister and one who is now aspiring to be our president could do not prosecute such a case nor is he prepared or willing to offer any public explanation for his conduct in this matter. Can we trust such an individual with such splendid state power as reposed in the Presidency? Unless of course, there was nothing to the arrest of those three NPP ladies!
What did Nana Addo do about that case to send a strong and clear message to Ghana and the world that his government was dead set to punish anyone, regardless of proximity to the ruling class, who dares engage in the dangerous narcotic trafficking?
Was Akufo Addo not the parliamentarian who was pushing hard for a law (described by Ghanaians as Amoateng Bill) to be passed that will essentially allow Ghanaian drug offenders, languishing in Thai jails among others to be sent back to Ghana to complete their term? O, how Nana Addo cares about the plight of Ghanaians abroad!!! What has Nana Addo got to say about his woeful failure to show a similar compassion, zeal and resourcefulness in the case of the over 40 Ghanaians who were brutally butchered to death in Gambia under his tenure as Foreign Minister. How can we so soon forget the disgraceful arrest and conviction of one of our own parliamentarians - Eric Amoateng of NPP - in New York for trafficking in illicit drugs? Amoateng spectacular arrest defines, in a murky sense, the profundity of drug trafficking in the country and the danger it poses to our democracy. If Eric Amoateng, a drug baron, could get himself elected into our legislative body on the ticket of the ruling party, can we imagine the depth of influence of drug money in other essential institutions of state? In fact, of all the presidential candidates the one who is most distressed and troubled by accusation(s) - credible or otherwise - of illicit drug dealings is Nana Akuffo Addo. And without appearing to be partisan, I BELIEVE he has contributed enormously in devastating any credibility he has in dealing with this serious national threat. Dishonorable Akuffo Addo is trouncing behind his surrogates in fighting accusations of favoritism, nepotism, blind partisan politics and sheer incompetence in discharging his duties as our then Attorney General. Akuffo Addo KULUULU RECORD as an Attonney general……..STAY TUNED FOR MORE TRUTHS ABOUT AKUFFO ADDO… Does Nana Akufo Addo still believe in the Amoateng Bill? Does he think that it will be useful to bring him back to Ghana, top NPP drug financiers like Eric Amoateng and Raymond Amankwah? LORD HAVE MERCY…
Why does Nana Addo think that the accusation of Drug addiction has never been leveled against any other leader or potential leader of his party, (Busia, Victor Owusu, Adu Boahen, J.A. Kufuor, Alan Kyeremateng) but only him? Is it just a coincidence?
Why has it been so difficult for him to personally respond to the accusation as Obama has done in the USA and as Prof Mills has convincingly done about the allegation that he was sick and dying nonsense?
Is Nana Addo surprised that given the catalogue of serious actions and inactions on his part, Ghanaians think that he is not qualified to be leading a nation that wants to wage a serious crusade against the drug canker and other attendant problems like the spiraling crime in the country? We can go on and on and on. But we need to pause and wait for direct and truthful answers from the NPP candidate. It is shocking that a man, who prides himself a great story teller, suddenly becomes so mute anytime the above questions are asked.
Do you think we have forgotten about your uncles and relatives and their BLOODLETTEINGWAYS THROUGH THE FAMOUS KIBI RITUAL MURDER CASE? HOW MANY PEOPLES BLOOD ARE ON YOUR HANDS? GHANAIANS WHO ARE TOO YOUNG SHOULD GO READ ABOUT THE BOOK THAT WAS WRITTEN IN THE DETECTIVE’S OWN STORY (INSPECTOR AMETEPE). STAY TUNED FOR MORE STORY…
Why could he not stand as Member of Parliament at Akwapim, only the Guan people feel the pain of his father’s action? Everybody knows…
They amassed the property of those who fell victims of the alien’s compliance order. PEOPLE KNOW. WHAT A SHAME…
Akuffo-Addo through his association (CLANDESTINELY) with PNDC operatives benefited from huge contracts (WE HAVE THE DETAILS) whilst ‘CRUSADING’ against the government. WE KNOW TOO MUCH...JULOR KWAKWE…IT WAS KOJO TSIKATA WHO HELPED AKUFO-ADDO TO SECURE CONTRACT. TODAY, AKUFO-ADDO IS BLUFFING. STAY TUNED FOR THE DETAILS….
His brother (BOUNTY) was behind the printing of GHANA’S MONEY.THEY STOLE MORE OF IT. That is why he and President Kufour are not in good terms because they cannot expose themselves publicly. This is the secret. HE OUTSMARTED THE PRESIDENT! More details will be unveiled shortly…
It is common in this current electoral campaign to gloat about the need for an issue based campaign- possibly, that approach is what is goading Akufo Addo to continue evading the critical issues about values, moral credentials and character.
For the information of all political leaders in Ghana, enunciating policies per se is not enough! As said earlier, the biggest crook in the world can mount a platform and chatter out an ample range of policies. He can hire clever folks to put together such a document. It does not in anyway mean he has any commitment to the things he is articulating.
As they say, Talk is really cheap because for somebody like Akuffo-Addo to have the impudence and the guts to talk about checking drugs and corruption that really means that talk is really cheap. Walking the talk is the real deal! If it were possible, Tagor could equally be convincing talking about the need to combat drug trafficking in Ghana.
Therefore, before the nation wants to pay attention to anyone's policy platform, there is the critical need to pay closer attention to the individual's moral values, beliefs and conduct while in a position of responsibility. Can the media, religious bodies, traditional authorities and other members of the civil society join hands to ensure that Nana Akufo Addo accurately answers the important questions posed in this piece? VOTE THE NDC FOR A BETTER GHANA… We will be back with more Akuffo-Addo’s wahala.
Ghanaians be aware that Akufo Addo did absolutely nothing in the past but he is promising you the world in future. Beware of a toothless man who promises to buy you dentures. Attorney general who did not know his work but sat down for corruption and illict drug business boom in the country does not fit to wear the national crown (president). The full context is that the Ghana you see is a figment of your imagination. This is not a war about "the best man for Ghana and victory," Sir, this is a corruption and drug war you and the president you support and seek to succeed.
AKUFFO-ADDO IS UNFIT TO LEAD THE NATION. GHANAIANS BE WEARY OF THIS TWERP, NINCOMPOOP, THIEF, LOOTER, CHEATER, CRACK HEAD, CORRUPT, JUJU MAN, AND LIAR. VOTE THESE CROOKS OUT….
I WILL ASK AGAIN “IF GOLD (K4) ROT, WHAT WILL IRON (AKUFO-ADDO) DO”
