Dear Ex-President Rawlings,
it appears the Revolution you championed has run amok with a vicious rampaging rage of corruption. The people have been impoverished instead of being showered with prosperity.
To put an end to this calamity, I am appealing to you as a "fellow traveller" to do your utmost to ask Mahama to step down and give way for a transitional solution to be called Solidarity Council.
This Council should include all founders of various parties including other distinguished members of our society.
The presiding head of this Council should be you, then
Bishop Akwasi Sarpong
Mrs. K.A. Rawlings - NDP
Paapa Nduom - PPP
Samia Nkrumah - CPP
Mr. Akuffo-Addo - NPP
The Chief Justice Mrs. Woode and other distinguished members our society.
Please, no chiefs !
The Council is to appoint technocrats from various disciplines to manage the country by formulating coherent policies for the Nation. Importantly - to reform the Constitution by introducing Parliamentary Democracy on the lines of the British Parliamentary System (there should be a referendum on the Constitution).
A Dictator at the helm of affairs is cited as one of the main causes of a failed state. It should beabolished and the People should be free to make their own choices. No Dictatorship, more Democracy.
It should be "The Voice of the People is the Voice of God".
Thank you.
