I have read Mrs. Oboshie Sai-Coffie's spot-on rejoinder to the malicious turd fetidly evacuated by the Irmo, South Carolina-based Dr. McHypocrite, and can only add a thunderous "Amen!" to the same. Indeed, the problem that the 2008 Akufo-Addo Campaign Communications Director has is that he is so chock-full of personal animosity for the two-time flagbearer of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) that it prevents him from reasoning coherently (See "Arthur K's Claims Borne Out of Malice - Akufo-Addo" Citifmonline.com / Ghanaweb.com 8/21/14). Now he is also risibly talking about his enviable knack for common sense.
Well, I am not the least bit surprised at his latest anti-Akufo-Addo tirade because Dr. McHypocrite began his Akufo-Addo-hating political avocation by picking up indiscriminate quarrels with anybody known to be related to his perennial target of rank abuse and vitriol. Which is why unlike the more charitable Mrs. Sai-Coffie, I have absolutely no shred of doubt that Dr. McHypocrite has absolutely no remarkable capacity for positive psycho-political transformation. He is clinically a spent force who is destined to spend the rest of his life soaked with raw envy and hatred for people he gratuitously deems to be the sources and causes of his epic political failure.
Even as Mrs. Sai-Coffie aptly noted during the 2007 NPP presidential primary, the obstreperously imperious and overconfident Dr. McHypocrite garnered the vote of only one congressional delegate, out of the grand total of two-thousand, two-hundred and ninety-three votes. Since then, McHypocrite has not forgiven the man who won that primary for trouncing him so ruthlesssly and shamefully as the Germans did to the Brazilians in the 2014 World Cup Soccer Tournament.
You see, McHypocrite had spent a lot of his monetary resources bribing so many delegates who had hoodwinked him into believing that he had the party's nomination tightly sealed, down pat, in his favor. Having giddily jetted in from good, old Uncle Sam's land of the brave and free, McHypocrite considered himself to be our latterday "visionary" African Show Boy. He intended to take the entire country by storm and effectively sweep off-stage the very leaders on whose firm and broad backs and shoulders the foundational structures of the New Patriotic Party had been raised.
What McHypocrite had woefully failed to do was to critically size himself up against the neo-pioneering giants against whom this teething toddler intended to compete for national leadership. But even more significantly, McHypocrite had abysmally failed to both consult his Almanac and fake Rolex wrist-watch to find out precisely what month, year and time it was in Ghanaian politics. In sum, he had been too full of himself to realize that the Ghana of December 2007 was not the same as the Gold Coast of December 1947. And for these egregious blunders, McHypocrite would rather have Nana Akufo-Addo scapegoated than take full responsibility for his own gross political miscalculation.
Precisely why would Akufo-Addo organize phalanges of thugs to destroy the very party that has consecutively offered him its presidential nomination twice, and is on the verge of doing him the same honor the third time around? Besides, based on Chairman Afoko's account of some National Democratic Congress thugs having infiltrated the NPP national headquarters wielding machetes, cudgels and molotov cocktails, which NPP presidential aspirant is more likely to have crossed over the street to the other side in order to march back in with these urchins and thugs?
I mean, which of the NPP presidential aspirants has a track-record of abandoning ship in order to forge a common cause with the Mahama-led government of the National Democratic Congress? You be the judge, my dear reader.
