Asantehene Inculcates Civilized Akan Norms Into Rawlings

As a hallmark of his great personality and profound leadership skills, The Asantehene has done it again.

This site published today (May 7, 2010) a news item about a high powered church gathering and a supper in Kumasi marking the sixtieth birthday celebration of The Asantehene. A very interesting development took place. Rawlings, upon greeting The Asantehene, failed to greet President Kuffour, but for the insistence of The Asantehene that Rawlings does so. President Kuffour was sitting very close to The Asantehene.

Not only would fruition of the attempted disrespectful, arrogant and uncivilized gesture by Rawlings, have violated human norms but it would also have infringed upon the provisions of both national and international protocols. It would also have shown the disrespect that this bastard called JJ Rawlings has for Ghana as a whole. Among the guests were foreign dignitaries whom I suspect Rawlings would show sufficient respect as to greet without the instruction of The Asantehene, as required by international protocols. Notwithstanding, Rawlings would have had mustered sufficient eccentricity as to display an aberration from protocol requirements and would have refused to show equitable respect to the most prominent statesman of Ghana.

The Asantehene enjoys a very important role not only among The Ashantes but among the whole of The Akan groups of Ghana. This positive action by The Asantehene speaks for all Akans and it shows our respect for the rule of law, refined interpersonal relationship based on mutual respect and our respect for peaceful co-existence as enshrined in Christian teachings, the predominant religion of the Akan groups of Ghana.

These glorious Akan attributes coupled with the culture of low degree of vindictiveness among the Akans, have allowed Rawlings to walk around as a free man after his long reign of unlawfulness, terror, murder campaign and selective tribal animosity against persons of Akan dissent. This was a regime put in place by Rawlings with his equals of thugs, hoodlums, hooligans and AK-47 wielding militias and killing brigade who have become modern day arm robbers. This whole movement would culminate into the moronic NDC party.

It is very funny that this bastard called Rawlings proclaimed openly and unlawfully on several occasions in the past, his hatred for “Ashantes” , our language and our culture. Yet he turns around to marry an Akan woman. I put Ashantes in quotation marks because Rawlings, like some ignorant Ewes, lump all Akans together and call us Ashantes. What happened to his high school geography, government or civic studies?

Thus, what Rawlings shamefully wants people to misinterpret as his hatred for “Ashantes” (Akans) should rightfully be perceived as ENVY, if Akan women are superior enough to Ewe women to warrant this bastard forsaking his ewe women to marry an Akan woman.

What a dangerous, ignorant, arrogant, a nation wrecking fool and a terrorist Rawlings is. He never changes !
