The NDC rented newspaper , The Herald carried a story in the Ghanaweb forum on Feb. 28th 2012 with the heading:
"How Mpiani & Akoto Osei Stole HIPC Funds Documents"
So far so good because it did say funds documents which I know there should be a record of debts cancelled and and how much it was.As usual, these JSS drop-outs masquerading Journalists and specialized in deceiving at their out-moded school of Journalism hid their intention in the body of the story. Here comes the kicker buried deep in the story;
"Prominent among them is the Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) files which had the records of the in-flows of monies and how they were disbursed during Kufuor’s time in office."
Inflows of money? What inflows of money? Disbursed to who? This is really a disgrace for a so called newspaper to report. I live in USA and I know even the tabloid papers employ people who are experts in their field to report on technical issues but not in Ghana where mushroom papers are springing up everyday because this clueless NDC government has made it very profitable for infantile Politicians and JSS drop-outs who can insult their elders a very profitable venture to lie to Ghanaians. These people, I mean infantile Politicians like beaver teeth Okudzeto Ablakwa, Agyenim Boateng, that Otukonor guy with a mouth a pig will be jealous of and that so called oil expert, the Totobi Kwakye bastard son, Kwakye and their paid rented papers like The Herald, The Informer, Lens and others have made lies into an art which pays.
I thought at least there were some few intelligent people in NDC and their rented newspapers. Where did we train these stupid Journalists? NPP stole HIPC funds? Does this Journalist know what HIPC is? How did NPP steal HIPC funds when HIPC was just a cancellation of debts by indebeted countries and agencies? The point is that money transaction did not take place between Ghana government and the countries and financial agencies like International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank we owed money to. Let me explain it vividly so that laymen without financial background can understand this. HIPC was simply a debt forgiveness,Ghana was not given any money to be disbursed so this paper has no clue what it was writing about. The oe who wrote the story have no idea what HIPC is. Example;
Let's say Kofi owes Nana Yaw 100 dollars. After some years of Nana Yaw making demands for his money,he realised that, Kofi cannot even afford a dollar to feed himself, Nana Yaw tells Kofi, FORGET IT, DON'T PAY ME BACK, I HAVE FORGIVEN YOU.Nana Yaw did not give Kofi 100 hundred dollars and tells Kofi, give it back to me like you've paid me. Nana simply tells Kofi, don't pay me back, take it like you don't owe me anymore, there is no exchange of money here.
Another good example for those in diaspora is this; If you file for bankcruptcy and all your debts are forgiven or written off so that you can start on a new clean slate. Those cancelling your debts or the people you owe money to do not give you money for you to give it back to them, you just sign papers and the slate is wiped clean. Folks, that is how the HIPC worked so for this illiterate paper to say some people stole HIPC funds is really dumb and shows that this Herald Newspaper employ jss drop-outs without any finacial backgroud and wrote a stupid article on an issue it has no business writing about. The writer went on and wrote this;
"Prominent among them is the Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) files which had the records of the in-flows of monies and how they were disbursed during Kufuor’s time in office."
How stupid can these people be? Let's even assume that there was an inflow of money and the two, Mpiani and Akoto Osei stole the money, that means that they did not pay the people we owes money to so how did we get those debts cancelled? They stole the money they are supposed to use to pay our debts and still got our debts cancelled? Does anybody know how I can get in touch with the two Houdinis who can kill two birds with one stone? (Keep the money you are supposed to pay a debt and still get the debt cancelled) I guess Ata Wayo got this idea from Mpiani when he went to USA to do business on behalf of the country and took care of his medical problems too.Does the idiot who wrote this article have any brains in his head or he has cement for a brain? Are these the "brainy" Journalists and the rented papers NDC fools are supposedly paying them tens of thousands of dollars a month to defend and prop them up?
It is really insulting to the people of Ghana when these papers write blatant lies like this because they have no respect for our intelligence.They think all Ghanaians are like their fool soldiers, sorry, I meant their foot soldiers who have taken leave of their brains and act on emotions without employing their brain cells and act like goons at a drop of a coin. This Herald newspaper and its sister papers should realise that, this is 2012 and not before independence time, the era we used to call the "ABA GYIMII BRE" time because there were less educated people and everything the few educated ones told us were taken as the gospel truth. Thanks to Kwame Nkrumah for making education possible to everybody, we are not in in "ABA GYIMII BRE" time anymore, more Ghanaians are educated and can analyse issues logically so they should write like they are talking to their equals and not illiterates.
