Attention!!! Carl (Car) Wilson Contests For The NDC Weija Parliamentary Seat
The former Chairman of the Confiscated Vehicles Allocation Committee (CVAC), Carl
Wilson, popularly known as "Car Wilson" has dismissed reports making round that he
has been disqualified from contesting in the forthcoming primaries for the election
of a parliamentary candidate to represent the ruling National Democratic Congress
(NDC) in the Weija constituency.
A publication in Monday's edition of The Publisher newspaper claimed "Carl Wilson,
having been booted out of office after the youth of the NDC besieged the
headquarters, is out with intention to lead the people of Weija Constituency in the
region. But his dream is now shattered because his application has been turned down
by the rank and file of NDC.?
In an interview on Radio Gold, Carl Wilson described the publication as false and
propaganda and denied that he has been disqualified. According to him, he went
through a successful vetting process and has even been given the authority to
campaign. He was therefore pleasantly stunned to see the publication indicating
otherwise.
According to him, it was a very big surprise that see a publication that he was not
qualified, because he went through vetting and everything was successful, there was
nothing to suggest that he had any trouble or somebody has anything against me.
Despite the fact that the same paper has castigated Carl Wilson many times as a
vindictive person, Carl said ?when you know you are doing the right thing, you don't
have to be afraid.?
Is it not really strange that somebody like Carl (Car) Wilson, a former Chairman of
the Confiscated Vehicles Allocation Committee (CVAC) who was thrown out of Office
for stealing cars from the Tema Harbour could be allowed to contest for the NDC
Weija parliamentary seat?

The President of Ghana, Prof. John Atta Mills has sacked Mr. Carl Wilson, the
Chairman of the Confiscated Vehicles Committee (CVC), a press released issued and
signed by the President's Head of Communications, Koku Anyidoho and copied to
ghanabusinessnews.com
The one paragraph release simply said, ?per a directive from His Excellency
President John Evans Atta Mills, Mr. Carl Wilson's appointment as Chairman of the
Confiscated Vehicles Committee (CVC) has been terminated with immediate effect.?
???
Above all his criminal activities he is still a free person and could even say in a
Radio Station ?when you know you are doing the right thing, you don't have to be
afraid.?
