I need your help badly; or else, I may be dead or fall seriously ill in a foreign land. I have been put in deplorable conditions by a group of ‘uncivilized and crime-minded Americans.’ Those suspects are highly organized in conducting the criminal activities that they love so much to do on daily basis. Those Americans [suspects] have contracted officials of The Republic of Ghana’s Embassy in Washington D.C. for help. They have arranged with them [the Ghanaian embassy officials] to work in their [suspects] favor, if I filed a complaint with the Embassy. This is why I am referring this matter to you. I cry any time Ghanaians blame you for our problems. They must blame ‘Everyone Else,’ instead of blaming you, all the time.
Below is my story. Please come to my rescue, sir. But, before I say my story, I would like for Ghanaians to take notice of the following:
1. Highlife Radio reported to the world that I have a criminal record in September 2013.
2. I submitted my complaints about the criminal activities conducted against me by the suspects to the U.S. dignitaries on January 27, 2012. This means that, I did not file my complaints because of Highlife Radio’s broadcast that informed the global community that I have a criminal record. (Please see the date of the attached receipt, issued by the USPS)
3. Our second high-ranking of our retired statesmen, Vice President Aliu Mahama, passed away in December 2012. Ghanaians did not hear from me. When I was growing up in Bolgatanga, that was when he was there working tirelessly and without violence for the betterment of Ghana. I also know what I gained from his administration when he served as Vice President of my country. At least, I could have written to say farewell to him because if foreigners in my country die, and I am alive, I will by all means have to attend their funeral and talk about Justice; let alone a citizen’s death.
4. The first annual celebration of our President Dr. John Evans Attah-Mills’ death took place in the last week of July 2013. Ghanaians did not hear from me.
5. The fact that Ghanaians did not hear from me on the two sad occasions - the death of the number 2 high-ranking member of our retired statesmen VP Mr. John Aliu Mahama and the late President Dr. John Evan Attah-Mills’ first annual remembrance week, inform everyone that I was in deplorable situations before the Highlife Radio’s broadcast that possibly or probably took the world’s attention of the so-called criminal record that the broadcasters gleefully wanted everyone to know about. (God is king.)
6. The point I am making here is that, I would like for Ghanaians and the good people of Ghana to know and understand that my report was already filed with the State of California Governor’s Office and the U.S. President’s Office, complaining about the unlawful criminal activities the suspects placed on me even before the so-called Highlife Radio broadcasters, discourteously and unprofessionally, made the broadcast. I wouldn’t file a report with the two dignitaries if I have really committed the crime.
7. On May 12th, 2011, I submitted a peace plan to our then President Dr. John Evans Attah-Mills. I copied it to Ghanaians. The last but three sentence of the plan, located in the plan’s last paragraph, is, “I need a change in my country because I cannot live without Justice for all my life.” Why do you think that I wrote this sentence and how do you interpret it? (There are two interpretations here. One of them applies to the mistreatment I have gone through and am still going through in California here.) A. Poku-Gyimah Peace Plan (APGPP), May 12,2011.
Now my story is:
I am hurriedly writing to inform you that a group of California public safety/criminal justice system and a few executives of the California Mental Health Department employees have been hacking and phishing my computer for over a year now. On Tuesday, April 22, 2014, Yahoo sent me a notice regarding a message it was unable to deliver to your official email address (the President’s official email address – I have deleted the address for security purposes) on my behalf. Please read the entire message Yahoo delivered to me. Below is the message:

Yahoo’s message ended.
Your Excellency, please note that, since I delivered my message of commiseration and tribute pertaining to our late President Dr. John Evans Attah-Mills’ funeral celebration to you, I have not written to you again. In fact, after sending you the message of condolences, I have sent out two emails to Ghana. The first email was sent to DSP Mr. Cephas Arthur of the Ghanaian Police Headquarters. The second email was for Nana Akuffo Addo, and it was sent via the NPP’s General Secretary and the email address I used is not the same email address I use to communicate to your office. Therefore, please disregard the content of any letter(s) or message(s) you receive via my email (my email address – deleted) and/or any other email addresses of mine.
Do not delete any such scammed messages you receive in my name. Keep them for evidential purposes, and I request you advise the U.S. Attorney-General to take immediate action on this matter. This is about our safety. It is also about our national security. And this is particularly important because of Ghanaweb.com General News report of Wednesday, 28 May, 2014, titled “US, Ghana begin investigations into Mahama email scam” (Source: Myjoyonline.com).
I hope that Ghanaians will read this report to add to their understanding that you [President Mr. John Dramani Mahama] have done nothing wrong regarding the news they read and/or heard on air on 28/05/2014, and that, your hands are clean.
Anytime the suspects open my emails, they click on the “sent” folder, to check the emails I have sent out. (They want to know where the emails were sent to and their contents. They also read messages I have received. They also want to see if I am receiving professional job offer(s) so that they contact the source to deny me the offer.) After reading the emails, they decide either to delete the mails or undelete them.
Some members of the California criminal justice system have conducted criminal activities against me since I first came here into the United States. By 2010, I could no longer bear their unprofessional conducts toward me. In 2012, I wrote to both the President of the United States and the State of California Governor requesting their immediate intervention. (Please see the attached copy of the mailing receipt of the documents, issued to me by the United States Postal Service (USPS) on January 27, 2012). Among my demands, I specifically asked for arrest and prosecution of the suspects. The suspects became smarter than I was; because I ‘foolishly’ told one of them about my intent to report their alleged criminal conducts to the aforementioned dignitaries. As soon as they got that hint, they called the offices of the dignitaries including the Office of the United States Attorney General and sought help from the employees. They pleaded with them to keep my report away from the dignitaries. I have personally visited the Governor’s office several times but the employees didn’t let me see the Governor. I have gone to the Governor’s residence several times but his security detail did not allow me to see him because they are assisting the suspects from getting arrested, on the suspects’ request.
In February 2010, two of the suspects (judges) in collaboration with some executives of my former employer, hired two men to kill me to cover up their criminal conducts, on three different occasions, but they were unsuccessful. When they became unsuccessful to murder me, they employed several other means that they thought could lead to my downfall, but God is always with me.
In February 2013, their attempt to kill me through food poisoning did not materialize because I did not eat the food. They gave the food to someone who pretended she was a friend of mine to give the food to me to eat but I did not eat it. I threw the food away into a dust bin when I left the so-called friend’s home.
On January 15, 2014, they tried again to assassinate me through vehicle collision. Again, they were unsuccessful. Their contractor [the other driver] was fortunate he did not die in the accident.
On January 24, 2014, working as agents for the suspects, this city’s (the name of the city is shown on His Excellency’s copy.) police collaborated with the mechanic shop owner where I towed my vehicle to repair after the accident, to forcibly take my car from me, for good. The mechanic shop owner didn’t repair the car; yet he didn’t allow me to tow the car from his shop. This was because the suspects talked to him that he should not allow me to take my car from his shop. The suspects conspired with the police to tow the car to the city’s storage facility for auction. They were unsuccessful because I quickly mobilized ‘street guys’ to help me push the car from the shop.
On the same day, January 24, 2014, I called the Ghanaian Embassy in Washington D.C. to report the matters to the Ambassador but he wasn’t in his office. His secretary told me he had travelled to Ghana under your authority. His secretary told me she didn’t know when he [the ambassador] would return to Washington D.C.
Based on the fact that the Ambassador was in Ghana, I reported the matter to the Ambassador’s secretary. The secretary told me to put my complaints into writing and email them to her for the Embassy’s consideration. The email address she gave me is, [email protected]
I asked the Secretary to tell me her name but she did not tell me her name. She told me that the employees at the Embassy do not tell their names to their customers. She said that they only receive information from their customers and work on them. I insisted she tells me her name. She told me to use her title, “Ambassador’s Secretary’ in all of my correspondence to her.
Before I talked to the lady who said she is the Ambassador’s secretary, the Embassy’s receptionist, who was the first person to answer my telephone call, also declined to tell me her name. The Embassy’s telephone number I called at, is: 202-686-4520. The receptionist also told me that the Embassy’s officials do not say their names to their customers.
Approximately two weeks or there about before I called the Embassy on the January 24, 2014, I called the Ghanaian Consulate-General’s office in New York to complain about the same issues. The receptionist refused to tell me his name. I asked the receptionist why he was refusing to tell me his name. He told me that they don’t state their names to people that call the Consulate. When I asked him why they don’t state their names, he said that it is the Embassy’s policy. He told me the Consul-General with his working team was on a working tour, so he advised me to call them again the following Tuesday because the following Monday was a holiday. I made the call on Thursday. (I did not record the date.)
On the January 24, 2014, after calling the Embassy several times and talking to the receptionist and the Ambassador’s secretary, I finally called the Consulate-General’s office in New York to complain the matter to the Consul-General, too. My plan was to determine if, at that time, the Consulate’s receptionist would state his name for the record. I also had on my investigative plan, to find out the reaction of the Consul-General, particularly if s/he would state their name for the record. After I told the receptionist about my mission, he shouted at me and said, “We do not give instructions to police.” I yelled back to him and said, “I am not asking you to give instructions to the police. I am asking you to call the police headquarters and advise them that I have reported the matter to your office and that you want them to know that the Consul-General is monitoring the events very closely.” The receptionist hung up the phone on me. When he hung up the telephone on me, I quickly called the Consulate again and the answering machine was left on. No one picked up the phone. Later, in about 10 minutes, I called the Consulate again and no one received the call. The answering machine was still on. I called the Embassy in Washington D.C. but no one answered me.
I became suspicious of the employees at the Embassy and the Consul-General’s office. It was evident that the suspects had contacted the Embassy employees for favors - to work to suit the suspects’ circumstance - to decline reporting the matters I was about to submit to the Embassy, that would have been processed to the attention of the U.S. dignitaries. All the suspects are Americans.
Your Excellency and the good people of Ghana, this is what is happening:
The suspects have contacted the Ghanaian Embassy in Washington (most likely through an agent (Ghanaian)) and have sought help from the employees to help them [the suspects] not to process my report to the U.S. President, the State of California Governor and the U.S. Attorney General. In the meantime, they have committed very serious crimes against me and the State of California. Consequently, they have violated some minorities’ civil rights, including particularly me.
The reward for the Ghanaian Embassy officials to undertake this contract is not known to me. However, I believe it may either be in cash or in kind. I believe that they contacted our employees to keep my report away from the Ghanaian Ambassador, if they received it from me. They, however, would have processed it and inform the Ambassador that my case is a civil matter that I have against the State of California, not a criminal case against the suspects, so the Embassy can only help me to file civil law suit against the State of California. This is the contract the Embassy agreed to undertake for the suspects because the suspects don’t want to spend time in prison. They also don’t want to lose their jobs. The suspects have contacted me through their agents on many different occasions advising me to stop making a report to the U.S. authorities and file a civil law suit against the State of California.
I observed that all the police and the suspects’ harassment I was and am going through, our officials at our embassy were involved in the planning processes. The plan was/is to frustrate me to quickly report the matters that I have against the suspects to the Embassy, so that, upon receipt of my complaints, our officials would diplomatically advise me to stop making a report to the dignitaries, while they file a civil law suit against the State of California, on my behalf.
Mr. President, is it fair? Is it lawful? Is it a diplomatic practice for the Ghanaian Embassy officials to work against their own citizen? (I cannot disclose the main hardships the suspects have put me in, to the general Ghanaian public, but, as for you, I will disclose a few to you, on top of your copy of this report, so that you will know how urgent I need your help, please)
I am a citizen of Ghana by birth, by my natural ancestry, and by the Constitution of Ghana. According to my late father, he was born approximately 15 years or there about after the collapse of the Asante Empire and so he became a citizen of the former Gold Coast by his privileges of birth, natural ancestry and the British Constitution of the Gold Coast; Later on, in 1957 or there about, he transitioned and joined the Republic of Ghana. My mother, too, a former Gold Coaster, was born a year after the former Gold Coast’s historic year of 1935. She became a citizen of Ghana on March 6, 1957. She still lives on. Furthermore, Mr. Anani Okuminyi Demuyakor, our newly-appointed ambassador to The People’s Republic of China, will testify to you that I am Ghanaian. (We are like brothers. My successful arrival here in the United States was partly attributed to his good works) I know Mr. Daniel Ohene Agyekum too. When I was growing up, I attended secondary school with his nephew Mr. Osei-Tutu, the late Nana Osei Kofi’s son. Lastly, a copy of my Ghanaian passport should be in the Castle, all things being equal, if it is not burnt into ashes because of the frequent fire outbreaks in Ghana. I mailed it to the Castle in 1992. I am a citizen of the United States by naturalization, too. I hope that my foregoing background information is good enough to assist you make a determination to help me as quickly as possible. (I have carefully and clearly detailed my Ghanaian and American backgrounds because you are receiving this report electronically and I am unable to establish or confirm my Ghanaian identity by providing a copy of my passport online.)
Your Excellency and the good people of Ghana, can you imagine this? How much are the suspects paying the Ghanaian Embassy employees and the Ghanaian Consul-General’s Office workers for taking up this ‘evil project’?
Mr. President, could you please check with your secretary and the entire employees in your office to see if they have been contacted by the Ghanaian Embassy in Washington D.C. officials to keep information I send out to you by email or by any other means away from you? I request for this because an accomplice of the principal suspects knows that I used to communicate to the Castle when the late President Dr. John Evans-Attach-Mills was alive and therefore she may have hinted the suspects to let the Embassy employees contact your workers so that any attempt I make to report the matters to you would not be forwarded to you. This plan may have begun prior to President Dr. John Evans Attah-Mills’ death. (Please ask them to speak the truth to you.)
On Thursday, May 29, 2014, I called the Embassy again and asked to speak to the next in command in the absence of the ambassador. After greeting the receptionist in English, I asked her if it was okay for me to speak to her in Twi language (I intentionally made the request because I wanted her to know that I am Ghanaian and that what they are doing to me is ‘evil’.) She gave me the go ahead to speak to her in Twi. I asked her to tell me her name and she repeated that the employees don’t say their names to their customers. I requested to speak to the next in command after the ambassador and she told me she was connecting the telephone to her. The next in command did not answer me but she had her answering machine on, for callers to leave a message for her to call back. She left her first name on the answering machine. Her first name she left on the answering machine was/is Mariam. I left a brief message with my name and telephone number and requested she returns my call but she did not return my call. I called again later on in the day but no one answered. (The receptionist, most likely, sees my telephone number on the Embassy’s telephone screen anytime I call there.) As of today, Mariam has not returned my call.
On the following day, Friday, May 30, 2014, I called the Ghanaian Embassy in Washington D.C. again but nobody answered the call.
On Friday, May 30, 2014, I visited a person who talks to the suspects. This person I visited is American. Although s/he did not tell me point-blank that the Embassy officials have got a contract from the suspects to work for the suspects, his conversation with me obviously demonstrated that the Embassy was working for the suspects. He laughed at Ghana, and wanted to know why the Embassy and a Ghanaian pastor should work for the suspects, and not for me.
This person I visited asked me if Ghana is in the midst of a civil war and if I came from a tribe other than the tribe(s) of the Ghanaians working for the suspects. He also wanted to know my position in Ghana because, according to him/her, if I came from a prestigious home in Ghana, the Embassy’s officials would not have treated me the manner they have meted out to me. My observation was that the suspects had discussed or gossiped about everything that s/he was telling me about. I further observed that the suspects do not have respect for our employees at the embassy, although they [the suspects] have retained our embassy employees to work for them [the suspects] because they didn’t think that the employees that my country’s government has posted to Washington D.C. would work against one of their own citizens to favor the suspects who are not Ghanaians. Consequently, the suspects disrespect Ghanaians.
Clearly, the foregoing paragraph may explain the reason why the suspects logged onto my email account and impersonated me. That is to say, they used my email address to send you [Mr. President of The Republic of Ghana] an electronic mail. (If they are caught and convicted for committing this crime, they face a possible 10 years in federal prison. If they are unfortunate, and the State of California prosecutes them for the same crime, on conviction, they can spend five to 10 years behind bars here in California. Usually, when a suspect is convicted twice for the same offence, they serve the federal term first, before they are transferred to serve the state term.)
On May 30, 2014, whilst talking with the friend, at his or her workplace, I called our Embassy in Washington, D.C. The receptionist answered the call. I greeted her in a professional demeanor and told her that, as of the time I was talking to her, Ms. Mariam had not returned my call. She said that she thought that Ms. Mariam had returned my call. She told me she was connecting me to Ms. Mariam, but I told her it was okay because I could leave the message I had for Mariam to her [the receptionist]. I started leaving a message that, I am sick and tired of a cross section of Ghanaians and that the great and well-known fetish in Ghana is hearing the case. And that, if he [the fetish] detects any wrongdoing by a fellow Ghanaian(s), in connection with this case, the fetish will disgrace such a fellow before the Ghanaian world. The receptionist quickly hung up the telephone on me. Since then I have not communicated to the Embassy again.
(Some time ago, I met a few Ghanaian-Americans. One of them was my friend. They told me that they applied for Ghanaian visa to travel to Ghana on American passports. They paid the visa fee but the embassy did not return their passports to them. According to the Ghanaian-Americans, several Ghanaian-Americans that applied for Ghanaian visa did not get back their American passports because the embassy officials sent the American passports home to Ghana and sold them to Ghanaians to come to the United States. They said that when they called the embassy and asked about the whereabouts of their passports and the visa, the officials told them that they [the embassy officials] mailed the passports back to their owners. According to the Ghanaian-Americans, it is not true that the embassy mailed the passports back to their owners because their owners never received their passports. When that happened, the passport owners had to apply for American passports again. In fact, I did not believe that they were saying what is really happening on the ground; but, at this time, I do not dispute what they told me. I even defended the Ghanaian embassy and said that, in 2002, when I renewed my Ghanaian passport at the embassy, it took just two weeks and the passport was in my mail box. But, they told me that they sent the passport back to me because my passport was a Ghanaian passport.)
This letter, which I am copying to the general Ghanaian public, is to advise Ghanaian officials and the general public that, if they have received emails in my name, they should please disregard the contents because I am not the sender/writer. Potential criminals from the California Criminal Justice System did that. The suspects are made up of judges, police officers, probation officers, parole officers and some civilian workers of the courts, as well as a few executives of the California Department of Mental Health. They have committed many crimes against me. They are harassing me in effect. They have taken my civil and inalienable rights away from me. They have committed and are committing crimes against Californians. I do not have my privacy anymore. Generally speaking, they are tarnishing my record and life history.
Your Excellency, Civil Rights Activists, and the good people of The Republic of Ghana, please thank you for spending your time to read my story. I need your help badly.
