Don't Be Stupid, Dr. McHypocrite!

Let no one mistake the "ceasefire" called by the 2016 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to imply that Nana Akufo-Addo has thrown in the towel, as fervidly and luridly prayed for by the Agenda 2020 Terror Sponsors, in a bid to scandalously committing political suicide (See "Nana Addo Should Have Condemned Attempts To Oust Afoko, Agyepong..." Citifmonline.com / Ghanaweb.com 5/30/15). You see, I am the grandnephew of the immortalized Barima Ohemeng (alias Nana Akyea-Mensah); and so I know far more about the practical realities of "ritual" murders, suicides and assassinations than those "naturalized" ethnic neo-fascist supremacists who would have Ghanaians facilely surrender their birthrights and civic responsibilities for the beneft of these clinical megalomaniacs.

Yes, like many a key operative of the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC), the New Patriotic Party also have our fair share of pathological nihilists. Indeed, I couldn't stop my sides from splitting with laughter when I read the news article in which the Irmo-, South Carolina-, based Dr. McHypocrite was quoted as saying that Nana Akufo-Addo ought to have issued a strongly worded statement condemning those who are trying to oust NPP National Chairman Paul Afoko and, the latter's right-hand man, General-Secretary Kwabena Agyei Agyepong. Fat chance! I say. Dr. McHypocrite also went on to suggest that the former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice ought to have appeared at his fire-dousing news conference last Friday, May 29, flanked by Messrs. Afoko and Agyepong.

Well, the last time that I checked, neither Mr. Afoko nor Mr. Agyepong was a "chartered member" of the Akyem Mafia. And so why would anybody, except a clinically certified buffoon, have expected the 2016 NPP flagbearer to have been accompanied by MacBeth and King Claudius? The fact of the matter is that indicted as yet or not, Messrs. Afoko and Agyepong have a thick cloud of criminality hanging over the heads; and Nana Akufo-Addo and the rank-and-file membership of the New Patriotic Party would be committing an epic political suicide if they allow the "Bolgatanga Duo" to become the administrative faces of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo Traditionalists.

Justice, honesty and integrity dictate the imperative need for Messrs. Afoko and Agyepong to stay far away from party headquarters until ongoing investigations into the troglodytic acid-dousing assassination of Mr. Adams Mahama are complete. Akufo-Addo must also not attempt to veto the seven out of the ten NPP regional executive committees that have returned votes-of-no-confidence on the administrative capacity and skills of the "Bolgatanga Duo." It would be irreparably suicidal! And if he has already done so, as of this writing, Nana Akufo-Addo ought to promptly reverse such an inadvisable move.

We must also send a strong signal to Dr. McHypocrite and his Quisling associates that electoral mandates are not etched in stone or steel. And also that there is really such a thing as the premature exhaustion of one's mandate, especially when the one so mandated has not been cleared of the heinous violation of his/her mandate. And this is precisely where the professional relationship between Messrs. Afoko and Agyepong, on the one hand, and the rank-and-file membership of the New Patriotic Party stands to-date.
