If the rabidly homophobic "albino-Ghanaian" law-school lecturer is really candid about taking issue on the cultural front with liberal Western leaders and their culture, then he had better, first of all, thoroughly deprogrammed himself from his elite Western academic and professional training (See "Gays and Lesbians Must Be Re-Oriented - Foh-Amoaning" Radioxyzonline.com / Ghanaweb.com 1/14/14).
He could also begin the radical process of linguistically de-Europeanizing / de-Westernizing the African continent, since he and the anti-gay and lesbian group that he leads have arrogated themselves the mandate of singularly representing the totality of the moral and cultural values of continental Africans.
At any rate, beyond his rabid detestation of homosexual lifestyle and culture, it is not clear why an equally disdained albino like Mr. Foh-Amoaning thinks that a biologically deficient sub-species of his kind is the best, or most ideal, face that even the cultural conservative anti-gay community in Ghana, or even Nigeria and Uganda, could put on its "high-minded" poster to represent its view and/or ideological stance on the issue.
In some African countries, by the way, even as I write, albinos like Mr. Foh-Amoaning are being relentlessly hunted down like prey or quarry and meted the most primitive and brutal kinds of "cultural justice," for merely and immutably being themselves. And so maybe to be protected, Mr. Foh-Amoaning may well need to have himself injected with massive doses of the pigment-inducing chemical called melanin, an adequate lack of which makes him pathetically resemble a very poor xerox copy of the very white-Western liberally minded leaders whom he so foolhardily presumes to be up against.
I also don't suppose that on any given good day, there are any more than a handful of Ghanaians who would want our leaders to be looking up to their counterparts in Uganda and Nigeria for advice or instructions on how to punitively deal with the gay and lesbian "menace," as Mr. Foh-Amoaning terms it.
Then also, exactly how the so-called National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual and Family Values, the group headed by Mr. Foh-Amoaning, intends to programmatically "reorient gays and lesbians" is anybody's good guess, in view of the widely established scientific fact that homosexuality is more genetically determined than it is cultural.
And also, just what does he mean when Mr. Foh-Amoaning presumptuously asserts as follows: "The African society is against this, and the people should understand this. Religiously we are against this, it is against our culture." Is the man implying here, for instance, that Africans are culturally and ethnically homogeneous? Well, his first name is "Moses," and so I am assuming the Mr. Foh-Amoaning also presumes all Africans to be Christians. And also, just which African religion or culture informs him that assuming a Europeanized Christian name, in of itself, constitutes no betrayal of African cultural and religious values? Go figure!
