STATEMENT BY AMBASSADORS FOR STANDARD JUSTICE AND SECURITY GHANA (GASJUS)

SPECIAL EID MUBARAK TO THE MUSLIM UMMAH (COMMUNITY)

Today (July 20, 2021), over 1.9 billion Muslims across the world will be observing Eid Ul Adha to mark the important Islamic tradition which seeks to remind believers of the need to sacrifice and be patient at all times.

We wish the Muslim community all the best of this special day.

On this holy occasion, let us pray to Allah for the well-being of everyone as the world goes through the toughest of time and uncertainty.

Let us be reminded of the situation we find ourselves in and observe the COVID-19 protocols and mark the celebration with absolute moderation and dignity.

More importantly, the outbreak of bird flu in Ghana is another cause of worry and as such families need to be careful in the consumption of chicken.

Eid-Ul-Adha Mubarak! We are wishing for this day to bring peace, prosperity, and devotion to your souls!
