Have you seen the worst yet?

Have you seen the worst yet? Have you seen the worst yet?

Sometimes it’s okay to feel down hearted and morose when life hits you with unexpected back tracking surprises but hey, irrespective of whatever situation you find yourself in at the moment, I want you to know that better days would surely come. It matters not how many times you fall but what matters most is how many times you get back up. Indeed, life itself is a struggle for the young, old, aged, poor and rich but the attitude with which we face our everyday challenges determine what become of us tomorrow…”Whatever my mind can conceive and my heart can believe, I can achieve it’’ (Jesse Jackson) . If you think you’re in the worst of conditions, let’s see if you actually are; i. Kwadwo took to indiscriminate sex even to the extent of patronizing the services of the sisters of the night soon after reading his HIV status report which showed positive. A month later, the hospital wrote an apology letter to Kwadwo for sending him a wrong report and attached to the letter was his actual report which showed a negative HIV status. If you were Kwadwo, what would you do??? ii. Surpriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiise!!! Jeff couldn’t believe his eyes, apparently because he had even forgotten that it was his birthday due to the headache of project work with the semester getting close to an end. His friends undoubtedly had made his evening with the surprise party which got him overwhelmed with joy. There were so many people around and he didn’t even realize that Daniel (his elder brother) was one of the people in attendance. Just after the crowd yelled hip “hip hip hurraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay”, Daniel told Jeff that he needed to tell him something so Jeff put down the knife for the cutting of the cake and followed his brother outside only to be told that their parents had just passed on in a motor accident. If you were Jeff, what would you do??? iii. Robby and Prince were very good friends who depended on each other and had been through a lot together in their three year stay in the same room after leaving Unity hall as result of the in-out-out policy of accommodation in KNUST. In the eyes of Robby, Adomah, his girlfriend was priceless. One evening, Robby received an emergency call from his mother asking him to come home with the next available bus so he wasted no time after sending a text message to his sweetheart and bidding his roommate fare well and headed for the capital. Fortunately or unfortunately, there was no bus at the VIP terminal so Robby decided to get back to the hostel and leave the following morning only to meet his girlfriend and his roommate in bed. If you were Robby, what would you do? iv. What would you do when you meet a man with no feet whilst searching for your missing shoes??? v. What would you do when you meet a man with one hand off after complaining bitterly of your lost ring???

If your always travelling parents are the reason for your watery eyes, think about the orphan. If you’re sad because your partner ditched you, think about the catholic priest who can’t have a partner even in his wildest dream. Life is what you make it, and bear in mind that no matter what happens, life must go on. Better days are just ahead! Biribiara b3 y3 fine……NyameNeHene!!! By: George Sarpong
