The Director of the Abele Driving School in Tamale Mr. Abubakar Atta popularly called Mr. Abele has disclosed that, impatience and indecision are core causative factors to most accidents on the roads.
Speaking during a Day’s seminar on defensive driving and road ethics for professional and amateur drivers in Tamale the director stated that, “if most drivers could exercise a little bit of tolerance on the roads some accidents could have been avoided to save precious lives”.
Mr. Abele also stated that, indecision at most times by motorists also contributes to lose of lives on the roads and has therefore entreated motorist and pedestrians to exercise high sense of patience and decisiveness when using the road to prevent avoidable deaths on the roads.
Participants at the seminar were very happy for the seminar and pleaded with the director of the Abele Driving School to organize more of such seminars for both old and new drivers within its operational areas to help save more lives. Later in an interview with the media, Mr. Abele disclosed that, his driving school was the first driving institution to be set up in the three Northern regions of Ghana with aimed at getting employable skills for the Youth and contributing to defensive driving on the roads.
He disclosed that, his school since its establishment in 1997 has trained over 5000 drivers in both the public and private sectors and has consequently appealed to all persons and organisations interested in responsible and defensive driving to collaborate with him to save lives on the roads.
