We spoke the truth and they branded it “The untruth!” We spoke our mind and they said, “We are out of our mind!”
Come what may, the truth is like a tangent to eternity; a trajectory in the space of time that remains invincible. Many were the questions asked pertaining to the travesty of a tumultuous era; one in which comedians pull the strings and thieves clap and waste the money so unduly acquired from the sweat and toil of innocent people who have forever slaved to make ends meet. Governments are meant to be in Power to reduce the suffering of the masses but when the ideals are changed for cosmetically disfigured statutes, then, we can only peacefully ask for a change.
So we say, “IMPEACH JOHN MAHAMA NOW!!!”
With his impeachment will resign one of the most heinous governments of all times: a government that has been plagued with scandals of bribery and corruption; massive embezzlement of the coffers; shameful drug scandals; illicit businesses and coercive acquisition of the people’s wealth; gargantuan rot that stinks everywhere.
A mayor who is caught on camera bribing a media person or roughing up a driver or dancing to some obnoxious beat in public to the discomfort of onlookers cannot be part of a responsible government.
A police force that calls for an end to bribery, as if it is the people who perpetrate same, is a sham by all means; when the police force is rated as the most cankerous and corrupt institution in Ghana due to the overwhelming stench that emanates from bribery, chicanery and corruption allegations that go on in that institution, then you will agree that they are a liability to the nation; when you have police officers who are supposed to maintain law and order but are not trusted by the citizenry because they intimidate and twist the arms of people to take bribes while they practise nepotism, then, you can agree with the report that puts them at the top of the list of corrupt institutions in Ghana; and all that at unprecedented levels under the rule of John Mahama.
As if the retrogression that we as a nation are experiencing is not enough, the lies about construction of schools and roads in the country are dehumanising, to say the least. There may be a road or two, or a few schools under construction, but that does not mean that same could be used to mislead the public with arrogant propaganda about negligible achievements, if they can be referred to as such, anyway. The fact remains that majority of schools are just being shifted from “managoase” to “kubease”- to wit, from under the mango tree to under the coconut tree.
Hundreds of millions of dollars disappear under the false pretence of projects that do not materialise; hundreds more vaporise enriching the select few at the expense of the suffering masses. Even during the erstwhile rule of H.E. Jerry John Rawlings, the situation in the country was not as inane. Rawlings brought to the system a measure of sanity that this current NDC administration succeeded in throwing out of the window.
Your Excellency, Mr President Mahama, when JJ told you to throw babies with sharp teeth out with their dirty water, you did not listen and now you have made us all pay the price of your “yenti obiaara” (we won’t listen to anybody).
Justifiably you have to be impeached if you do not call for early elections to arrest the trend that is really dragging the honourable name of your pedigree in the mud. So please for the sake of posterity and the sake of children who will carry your honourable father’s name, resign or face impeachment.
Impeach John Dramani Mahama now!!!
