Impeach president Mahama; the cry of a true patriot

Barely a year into office you want your Chairman and General Secretary to be booted out. Your reasons: You don't like their leadership style. They're one way or the other linked to the gruesome murder of the Upper East regional chairman.

You couldn't even wait to vote them out after this term that, for the first time in the party's history, you push for the removal of your Chairman and General Secretary without even waiting for the outcome of the police investigations.

But you have the spirit, patience and equanimity to endure and tolerate the economic hardship the dead goat government has plunged this country into. The mess Dumsor is causing to the point of lives been lost at the various hospitals yet you are prepared to wait for 2016 before you push this dead goat government out. How many more lives should we lose before? How many people should go jobless before you react with the same or even half of the alacrity in pushing your Chairman and General Secretary out? If we indeed care about the poor and suffering Ghanaian why don't we rather put the country's constitution to test by impeaching the president of Ghana? I believe a critical and careful assessment of his acts and conducts will expose to us some relevant grounds for impeachment. Oh I even forgot, we can even go the Burkina Be style. It's another option, after all the masses are suffering and they would be ever willing to rise against the Government and push it out as was done in Ouagadugou.

I believe this is what and where we should be channelling our energies and strengths to as a party. If you despise your Chairman and General Secretary more than President Mahama then you're a special breed of "patriot".
