In Celebration of Kwame Nkrumah's Exemplary Performance on Behalf of Unitary Ghana During 1951 - 1966
"... The beginning of the fall from grace of Ghana started in 1966, with that overthrow...It was Kwame Nkrumah who bequeathed Unitary-Ghana to all Ghanaians...Kwame Nkrumah's record is African history. It is World History edged in stone outside the mercies of all destructive and selfish elements...So, now, let all young Ghanaians wisely criticizing President Akufo over that speech know that J. B. Danquah never caused to be built, funded...commissioned, anywhere in their hometowns and villages, a single road or school...Dr. J. B. Danquah's...parents did not bear the cost of J. B. Danquah's own education...J. B. Danquah never won a single election even in his own hometown...President Akufo Addo ought to today atone for the role the ideological tradition he represents played in that maiden overthrow of Kwame Nkrumah's government...Akufo Addo can begin...by immediately causing to be re-named, away from General Kotoka, Ghana's premiere international airport, after Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the Founder of the same Unitary-Ghana he now presides over...", (Prof Lungu, 6 Mar 17).
In previous essays, we've posited and defended, as many people already have, the thesis that the fall of Ghana began exactly 51 years ago in 1966 when Kwame Nkrumah's government was overthrown at the hands of the Johnson CIA, the NLC, and rascal civilians Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia and Komla Gbedemah.
The significance of above statement suggests that it is bogus and fraudulent for President Akufo Addo and any number of politicians who have for generations peddled falsehoods about the Kwame Nkrumah record, and that true record of their own role in "the maiden overthrow", to lecture supporters of Ghana, Africans, and "young Ghanaians", that with so many resources, Ghana is still poor "60 years after independence".
That is political subterfuge!
That is a bald-face lie!
That is self-serving political propaganda!
MESSAGE 1: Dr. Kwame Nkrumah is the single most important figure in the conception and actualization of Unitary-Ghana that Akufo Addo still enjoys. J. B. Danquah, on the other hand, was one of the confederate-matemeho ideological great-grandfathers of the NPP. Even today, as he attempts to explain that "only young Ghanaians" are unable to understand that he did not in fact attempt to elevate J. B. Danquah who never constructed a single building in Ghana, over Dr. Kwame Nkrumah who did so much for Ghana, even as President, Nana Akufo Addo Danwka Addo cannot "enhance...the image of Kwame Nkrumah".
Repeat: Nana Akufo Addo Dankwa Addo cannot "enhance...the image of Kwame Nkrumah"!
The Kwame Nkrumah's record is African and international history. It is World History edged in stone outside the mercies of all destructive and selfish elements, human or climatic.
MESSAGE 2: So, let all "young Ghanaians" now wisely criticizing President Akufo Addo's independence speech understand this also, being their right to information and obligation to truly over-stand, that J. B. Danquah never caused to be planned, funded, constructed, built, purchased, or commissioned, anywhere in their hometowns or villages, anywhere in old Gold Coast or new Ghana, not a single:
• Mile of dirt road in Koforidua
• Harbor or Town in Accra-Tema
• Health clinic in Mampong
• Makaranta/school in Tamale
• Kindergarten hut in Buipe
• Canoe or paddle boat in Keta
• Library in Sunyani
• Factory in Komenda
• Power plant in Akosombo
• Hotel in Kumasi
• Etc, etc., etc.
In fact, all young Ghanaians now wisely criticizing Akufo Addo's independence day speech, including those fooled by years of lies and propaganda, all should know the following: None of the cost, none of the 1,000s of pounds sterling used to send J. B. Danquah to England to educate and train him as a lawyer in colonial Gold Coast, none of those expenses, we borne by J. B. Danquah, or his parents.
Rather, every single penny used to educate and train Danquah was taken, and in some cases actually stolen, from the "vassals and subjects" of Akyem Abuakwa, from taxes levied on all those good people soon to be citizens in Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana.
In fact, we are arguing here, tongue-in-cheek, if we may, that it was J. B. Danquah who was first to receive free public and professional education in the Gold Coast, long before anyone ever did, in new Ghana!
This is singularly the most important J. B. Danquah lesson Akufo Addo hid from Ghanaians the other day also, while reminiscing in front of other peoples' children that his father borrowed money from relatives to send he, Akufo Addo, to school.
And so, Akufo Addo's great grand-father, Ofori Atta, having taken all those levies, taxes and properties from the "vassals and subjects" of Akyem Abuakwa for the benefit of young J. B. Danquah, it is that same J. B. Danquah who would later, as a lawyer, advocate for Confederate-Ghana.
It is that same J. B. Danquah who, while living in Accra far away from the "vassals and subjects" of Akyem Abuakwa who paid for his education in England, it is that same J. B. Danquah who, sitting in an armchair, would come back to argue for a "property-owning democracy", and for confederation Ghana as we've just noted. It is that same tradition Akufo Addo and the NPP have always told Ghanaian they truly represent.
That is, until the rubber hit the road during the last elections, and Akufu Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia re-discovered that "social living is the best".
We will repeat the fact here again, but now modified!
MESSAGE 3: Dr. J. B. Danquah, one whose parents did not bear the cost of his own education, one of the ideological and philosophical great-grandfathers of the NPP, J. B. Danquah was at best a marvelous and selfish armchair political theoretician in colonial Ghana. As proof, J. B. Danquah never caused to be built a solitary house or compound in the Gold Coast or Ghana. J. B. Danquah never administered a chicken coop, let alone govern a single polity. In fact, J. B. Danquah never won a single election even in his own hometown. J. B. Danquah took from all the people. And when J. B. Danquah got a chance, J. B. Danquah asked other parents, every other person, to go fend for themselves. While fawning over property, J. B. Danquah conveniently forgot that it was the people, in all their poverty, in all their collective wisdom and knowing that social living and tradition is the best, it is they who funded J. B. Danquah's own life opportunity as a lawyer.
We will again affirm here today that Kwame Nkrumah's "image" does not need enhancement by Akufu Addo. If anything, it is J. B. Danquah's image that needs enhancement.
Further, we do not care about what Akufo Addo thinks Mugabe of Zimbabwe thinks of he, Akufo Addo.
In fact, if anything, President Akufo Addo ought to use the chance he and the J. B. Danquah take-levies-to-educate-your-child tradition now have, if anything, to atone publicly for all the distress and injuries they caused Ghana beginning 24th February, 1966.
President Akufo Addo ought to today atone for the role the ideological tradition he represents played in that maiden overthrow of Kwame Nkrumah's government.
He should begin atoning for destruction of all those public properties and infrastructure, for all those propaganda in the interest of foreign governments and the Johnson CIA.
Akufo Addo should begin atoning for all the impairment they caused Ghana by censoring every reading, educational, training, and cultural material and artifact, for all those ills visited on the minds of generations, and millions of Ghana's youths.
The beginning of the fall from grace of Ghana started in 1966, with that overthrow.
For 51 years and counting, it has been the ideological and philosophical great-grandfathers and "fathers" of Akufo Addo's NPP, together with the Nonentities, Liars, and Crooks (NLC), who attempted to destroy completely the infrastructure, the legacy, the heritage, and international renown of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
But, it was Kwame Nkrumah who bequeathed to Unitary-Ghana to every Ghanaian.
It was Kwame Nkrumah who bequeathed to every Ghanaian Unitary-Ghana with all the benefits of full Ghanaian citizenship no matter where they lived, no matter the language they speak, no matter where they come from, no matter their gender, no matter their age, no matter how rich their parents are, no matter what lineage they prescribe the human blood that flows in their veins and powers their hearts.
Kwame Nkrumah is the Founder of Unitary-Ghana, Ghana!
Therefore, former president John Agyekum Kuffour in Singapore and Akufo Addo in Accra at the Ghana@60 independence day celebration, both preaching and lecturing that "60 years after independence Ghana is still poor", is a rather selfish, fraudulent, propagandist, and intellectually bankrupt way of reflecting on World History and the History of Ghana.
That perspective serves only those who directly overthrew Nkrumah and those who still sanction that Johnson-CIA coup d'état against Ghana, just 9 years after independence.
It is that ahistorical, self-serving and intellectually bankrupt perspective that creates humongous rat holes and tunnels for NLC Kotoka, Ankrah, Ocran, Deku, Afrifa, Harlley, as well as rascal civilians Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia and Komla Gebedemah, all people who were instrumental in the overthrew of Kwame Nkrumah in 1966, to hide in infamy.
FACT: Every available data shows that during 1951 through 1965, Ghana, even with all the economic and political sabotage, was economically, a relatively better place than Singapore.
President Akufo Addo ought to be championing Dr. Kwame Nkrumah as the Founder of Unitary-Ghana.
Critically, the Founder of Unitary-Ghana is the same as the Founder Ghana, unless you are still a confederate-matemeho, at heart.
Lawyer Akufo Addo surely must know the difference!
THEREFORE, as President, Akufo Addo can begin to take a few significant but humble steps to rectify history by immediately causing to be re-named, away from General Kotoka, Ghana's premiere international airport, after Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the Founder of Unitary-Ghana he now presides over.
With respect to the re-naming of the Accra International Airport after Kwame Nkrumah, that would not only be a practical and substantive manifestation of retrenchment from the one-sided, fraudulent "official" history of Ghana as told by latter-day Danquah supporters. It would, as well, be a concrete and symbolic renunciation of the day Ghana's development began to seriously wane under the NLC and those rascal civilians on 24 February, 1966, two generations and 51 years ago.
That, to us, is the singular, most important and meaningful deed Nana Akufo Addo Dankwa Addo, now that he is president, as surely a deeply-reflective citizen of Ghana as he would like all Ghana's children to know, that is the only step he can now take to seriously begin healing the rift in Ghanaian politics, today.
As Burning Spear sings.....
"Social living is the best...It takes behaviour to get along....Do you know social living is the best?...Social living is the best".
Over!
Over!
Over!
And so it goes, Ghana!
