Columnist: The Ghanaian Lens

Kofi Adams The Traitor Within

Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Mr. Kofi Adams, has been exposed as a veritable traitor in the NDC. A traitor who has gone into a pact with the NPP to do everything possible to ensure that President Mills does not get re-elected as President of Ghana.

The Ghanaian Lens can today reveal that almost immediately after the results of the NDC’s Sunyani congress were announced, Kofi Adams reached out to an NPP bigwig and pledged his personal commitment to doing everything possible to ensure that President Mills does not get re-elected.
The Ghanaian Lens can further reveal that Kofi Adams asked the NPP guru to arrange so that they could meet outside Ghana to strategise on how he [Kofi Adams] could work in the interest of the NPP to ensure that Mills does not get re-elected.
By virtue of his position as not only a Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, but also as the Spokesman for NDC Founder, H. E. Flt. Lt. J. J. Rawlings, Mr. Adams is strategically placed to do maximum damage to the NDC.
As an elected official of the NDC, Kofi Adams is privy to high-level party information, and by his personal commitment to ensure that Mills does not win, he may well be leaking sensitive party information to opponents of the party, particularly the NPP.
Highly placed people within the NDC who have been apprised of Kofi Adams’ traitorous pact with the NPP have expressed disgust at his conduct, while some of them say that they now understand why each time it appears that they were getting close to bridging whatever difference exist between Ridge and the Castle everything would suddenly go sour.
“I am now beginning to understand why each time it looks like we are getting close to achieving the party unity that we all so much desire, things would suddenly turn sour and we would go back to square one. If you have people like Kofi Adams, who has pledged to ensure that Mills does not get re-elected, working in sensitive positions you can be sure that they would be in the background wickedly working against the unity, even perhaps polluting the atmosphere with falsehoods so as to ensure that we never achieved unity,” a disgusted elder of the NDC stated upon being apprised of Kofi Adams’ treachery.
