Dear Editor,
I am writing this letter in view of the massive uproar that the Woyome saga has caused and continues to cause in our country today and the possible political ramifications it will have on our party the NDC in the forthcoming elections . While all our attention has been on Mr Alfred Agbesi Woyome other government officials both past and present have committed similar crimes but have been left to go scout free.A case in point is the former DCE of Tolon under the NPP government Mr Wahab Sohini who took salary from the Ghana Education Service while also receiving salary as a DCE.
This in my opinion is equally criminal as the Woyome case and even more serious considering the fact that our District(Tolon) is one of the most underdeveloped areas in the entire northern region,We lack basic amenities such as good drinking water, electricity, good schools and health facilities.
The action of the former DCE is in my opinion is totally unacceptable and he should therefore be made to face the full force of the law just as our humble President has ordered that Mr Woyome should be arrested. There is the need to act swiftly now because he is just waiting and hoping that the NPP comes to power in the coming elections so that he can get away with this crime. I am writing this letter because all attempts by we the youth of Tolon and the surrounding villages to bring this to the attention of government has proved unsuccessfull.
To confirm what I am saying, I have attached a copy of the letter he personally wrote to the Ghana Education Service on this matter.
Thanks Signed
