Mills never Visted TB Joshua in 2012

*PRESIDENT MILLS NEVER VISITED TB JOSHUA IN 2012 CONTRARY TO GHANAWEB’S ARTICLE*

We wish to congratulate *GhanaWeb* for its prompt action in the performance of its duty to members of the society, over the years. It is an agency which has been praised severally for its sensitivity to the needs of the people.

Having written this, it was shocking that the piece titled *“President Mills Died Out Of Political Deceit”* on paragraphs 8 and 9, made out some falsehoods which had no foundation, especially concerning Prophet T.B. Joshua of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations.

The writer dangerously alleged that Prophet Joshua revealed that the late Professor Mills had seen him *three times this year* in Nigeria for “meditation and spiritual comfort”. This was a great lie and a wicked disservice to the man of God. It was even claimed that there are no records in Ghana’s parliament to indicate that the late President Mills travelled, even once, to Nigeria this year. This should have suggested that Professor Mills never visited Nigeria to see Joshua.

In a recent sermon, titled “A True Prophet”, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= OaQ0P0f4rrM ) Joshua made it clear that though he was close to Mills, and that Ghana was his second home, he had not visited Ghana in the past three years. President Mills had only spoken to him on phone. He never visited Nigeria this year. And if people lie against politicians, they should have cautiously refrained from lying against a man of God, because God says, “Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm”.

The writer even claimed that Mills travelled secretly to Nigeria three times to see TB Joshua, and that the President violated the stipulations in the Supreme Law of Ghana (the Constitution) and thus died of the cancer of his own political deceit.

These are terrible and vicious falsehoods because Professor Mills never visited Joshua this year, in Nigeria. The managers of *GhanaWeb* have a duty to properly investigate their stories or claims made in submitted articles, especially on men of God, before publishing.

This is not the best way to honour Prophet Joshua for his touching love for Ghana. If Ghanaians are today honouring the late president, such honour should have been extended to Prophet T.B. Joshua. And why should people lie against the dead and the living?

Decency demands that claims against men of God must be treated with caution. The material in *GhanaWeb* contains deceptive insinuations capable of generating bad blood in the minds of the people.
