The destruction of the entire Foreign Affairs Ministry by fire was a great loss to the nation and a very sad incident. President Mills has assured the workers at the ministry that they would be relocated to another place so that they can continue their work. Assuming this was an accidental fire, Atta-Mills’ plan would be natural and reasonable.
You all remember the questions surrounding the refusal of Mills and NDC to move the seat of the administration to the Jubilee House, to properly make this national monument serve its intended and rightful purpose. The Indian Government which donated most of the money for the construction of the building has expressed deep dissatisfaction at the utter recalcitrance of the NDC administration in refusing to put the building to its intended and rightful purpose. The Indian Government even sent a high powered Indian Government delegation to the castle to notify Mills/NDC that their continued refusal to occupy the building could be met with a withholding of future Indian assistance to Ghana. Only God knows why the NDC/Atta Mills entity is refusing to use the building. Might the voodoo worshiping NDC support base in Ewe land or the crafty and possibly criminal “pastor” Joshua be advising Atta-Mills of a possible voodoo spell on him if he occupies the building? What a sad and disgraceful situation it would be for a Stanford University educated lawyer and a former university professor to give in to influence by such low lying entities and thereby bring himself to their level.
So what is the most likely relocation venue that Atta-Mills and NDC may chose? Relocation to the Jubilee House would remove the justifiable pressure from both the Indian Government and the Ghanaian public off the backs of Atta-Mills/NDC. Therefore, burning down the Foreign Affairs Ministry would be in the best interest of the criminal intents and inept policies of the NDC. Burning down the Foreign Affairs Ministry would give the NDC thugs an alternative way for a wing of the administration to occupy the Jubilee House, so that they would have an excuse to show to the Indian Government and the Ghanaian public the the Jubilee House is being used.
If it is an NDC arson, do not rule out the possibility of Rawlings being the prime architect. His whole life has been a portrayal of opportunism, craftiness, lawlessness and criminality. He has manipulated innocent persons to accept responsibility for crimes that he masterminded. Eventually, these poor individuals paid the ultimate price for the crimes and Rawlings walked as a free man. The media (Ghanaweb.com) reported on October 22, 2009, that three persons had been arrested in connection with the fire. Do not get carried away by this report. You would all recall how Rawlings manipulated Amartefio to wrongfully plead guilty to the murder of the three Supreme Court judges so as to exonerate him (Rawlings). This plea would eventually lead to the death penalty for Amartefio. In the same way Rawlings could have manipulated those arrested on October 22, 2009, to commit this arson to serve his criminal intents. Like Amartefio, these individuals would pay the price, whilst Rawlings walks as a free man. You should also recall the gold heist which Rawlings manipulated others to commit. In the end the arm robbers of the gold consignment, paid the ultimate the price in jail sentences while Rawlings walked as a free man.
So, let us see what happens. Relocation to the Jubilee House should materialize our suspicions of an NDC arson engineered by that crafty bastard called J. J. Rawlings.
