It is amusing to see the NDC led by the likes of Dr. Omane Boamah and their partisan cronies, like Kwesi Pratt try to insult the intelligence of Ghanaians and attack an extraordinary patriot and respected Man of God like the Presby Moderator and Head of the Christian Council, the Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey.
The Rev. Martey is a Religious Leader who has demonstrated the great attribute of being fully aware that the well-being of his congregants, and by extension Ghanaians, is severely affected by incompetent and corrupt governments. This is not partisanship.
If the NDC has a problem with his abhorrence of corruption and incompetence, too bad. The solution is definitely not to display symptoms of the same disease affecting their leader, formerly called Yentie Obia and now known as dead goat syndrome and attack such a respected Man of God and Opinion Leader. They should rather focus on reducing their cluelessness and corruption as a government.
In fact, the esteemed Reverend was rather charitable when he said the Dumsor problem could be solved in 3 months. This is because the Create, Loot and Share, as patented by this regime alone, if avoided by a focused government, could have forestalled the Dumsor and Dumkuraa problem in the first place.
Indeed, the good people of Ghana should never have had to endure the mess that has befallen them but for this failed government, whose term was made possible only by the bizarre ruling by the Supreme Court.
So, if the NDC can know what is good for the people of Ghana, they will focus on fixing the people’s problems instead of attacking the critics of their mess, especially highly respected Men of God.
