NDC Sponsored Terrorism

By: Fadi Dabbousi

It’s been a hectic few years since Ghanaians awakened to the scandalous trick that the criminal NDC party had pulled on them. The de-facto norms of this party that have become unwritten laws are standards for harassment, intimidation, and terrorism, even against their own faithfuls in order to abominate truth and, coerce and subvert the will of others.
This is one party that has always gloated at the plight of the masses. It is a party that leeches on the unfortunate circumstances of other parties while its situation is no better than the image of Korle-Gonor. Its people behave much like the proverbial ostrich that hides its head in the dirt for safety leaving its body to tell the rest of its naked story. In fact, their ways seem more like that of the Nun, who covered her face with her skirt to avoid damage from the storm, exhibiting in the process her genitals to the public.
Recently, the NDC’s preparation for their upcoming parliamentary primaries hit the rocks with mass terrorism reported from all nooks and crannies of the country. At Ashaiman, the chairman of the occultist NDC party was hacked with a machete. In an earlier development, their Ahafo-Ano North Constituency Chairman was stabbed in the face. It was said that he had since given up the ghost; MURDERED! I hope that he is not dead, but who cares?
It is also surmised that the plot to kill Upper East Chairman of the NPP, who was doused with acid, was hatched and financed by the NDC. We shall not make any comments on this case pending its adjudication in court. So many atrocities linked to the NDC have been perpetrated in the name of contests that are anything other than democratic. Voter registers at constituency levels are vandalised and burned due to NDC allegations of over bloating yet the national one is strongly defended because they are all too aware that a win at the polls would be based on the flawed one currently in contention.
The NDC had suspended its office holders so many times over and over again out of sheer hatred and spite, without justification at all, yet when the NPP duly suspended its chairman for well-substantiated reasons, they made and continue to make noise as if a crime against them (NDC) is established.
Ever since the NDC was formed, it, together with its predecessor PNDC, built their processes on the foundations of violence and terrorism. Ghana’s history is infested with such ugly incidences. There had been no time in the Republic’s era that violence was visited upon this nation as much as that brought about by the PNDC and NDC. Rawlings killed people for mere GHs50 in his mad days of revolutions. In 1979, he conducted house cleaning exercises that destroyed people’s homes and killed many innocent victims. In 1982, his group killed, raped, and gave a more violent meaning to the word CARNAGE! Even though he stated categorically that 60% of the NDC’s people in government are thieves, he, on a personal note, has millions of dollars. The IRONY!
The NDC led by Asiedu Nketia went on a terror attack at the EC, which they now paradoxically claim a security area. They beat, maimed and murdered people on the quiet, yet some bed bugs in that party clung on out of pure indolence and a lack of will to mature into productive human beings.
The CPP, NPP, PPP and others may have a few issues, but I say to you, “If thy house is not of glass, then cast ye the first stone!” The truth of the matter is that when the storm quells, as it is beginning to, the stench emanating from the carcass of the NDC will nauseate even the cling-ons.
We shall go on with our work as a nation resolved and determined to change the status quo.
