"We must dare to think about 'unthinkable things' because when things have
become unthinkable, thinking stops and action becomes mindless." (William
Fulbright U.S. Senate Speech March 27, 1965)
We see our political leaders in the Nkoranza north district only when they want us
to vote for them and this time we are telling them, thus the DCE and the MP(Mr.
Kwadwo Agyei-Dwomoh and Major Derek Oduro (retired) that this time we don’t want to
see their faces in the Bono Manso and the various Communities because now we know
that they don’t have anything better to the development of our community.
They only come during elections to make vague promises and after we have voted them
into power we don’t see them anymore.
Since they know that the Primordial substance to the community(Bono Manso in
particular) is water they come each and every time there is elections to tell we the
people of Bono Manso that this time we are going to provide small town water system
which will serve us good drinking water to the community since one have to walk some
miles before getting water to drink.
I, Gyan Delaso and other colleagues are reacting due to publication on the Duapafm
website indicating that there is allocation of funds for constructing of 38
boreholes across the district meanwhile nothing of that sort is happening. If they
the same people coming to contest for the NDC and NPP respectively. We are telling
them that we tired of them and we not going to vote. If they want us to vote for
them then they should better do what they promised of. It is awful to see a
district with none of the towns with tared road.
