An innocent tweet to admonish patriots to exert their all - in order to clinch much anticipated victory in the upcoming 2016 general elections was misconstrued and twisted by NDC propagandists to seem as if it was a message against her number one icon, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Her name is Maame Afia Akoto, the deputy women’s organiser of the NPP. A strong agent for change never says die, especially at this time that her role model is the flag bearer of the NPP going into the 2016 general elections.
I am a bit obfuscated by the desperate effort of NDC buffoons who cannot keep their foolishness, esoterically, to themselves. After all, stupidity, according to the NDC zombies, is an art they patently own and are not ready to share the secrets of this shameful trait with anybody.
Her message on twitter, unedited, was, “Act more opposition henceforth. One hungry for power and angry to rescue power, and desperate to secure our future from being wrecked. Not the spoilt opposition kind.” Now here is the catchphrase that subtly lambasts the few moles that are being paid by the NDC to cause disruptions in the NPP, “not the spoilt opposition kind.”
Everyone knows that three characters were suspended from the NPP for their disloyalty and betrayal. These people have a few charlatans that they pay to implement nefarious and divisive plans. Maame Afia Akoto was sounding the alarm bells for patriots to work hardest as opposition to wrestle power from the ruling thieves in the NDC.
She enjoys a very good working relationship with all NPP members, and has been vehemently vociferous eagerly debunking the atrocious pronouncements and actions of John Mahama and his cronies. But of course, every passionate NPP campaigner is subject to attacks of all kinds. What has not been said about this woman? What hasn’t been done to hurt this role model to many young ladies? What hasn’t been plotted against this example of Ghanaian femininity?
If NDC fools can say that I am Victor Newman, Gabby Otchere Darko or an Ewe man in disguise, and, lately, a Moroccan, then all excesses in personality attacks and concocted lies become light and worthless. I mean how? Aaah NDC, how empty can your lot be?
Anyway, suffice it to say that Maame Afia Akoto, like her peers in the NPP, are hell bent on seeing change, and of course Change we shall all get. With the unbreakable unity that has characterised the elephant party since the wise suspension of the evil trio, it is safe to say that the NPP is marching on to victory.
Mr. President, John Dramani Mahama, please get some brooms to sweep the Flagstaff house behind you as you exit shamefully. Oh, oh, wait, not so fast, get local brooms, please. Don’t run off to China to procure them with one hundred million dollars of the nation’s money. You are capable of doing exactly that and telling us a long cock and bull story to justify the theft.
Maame Afia Akoto, toaso wai. Continue doing the good work that you are seriously committing your time to. We are doing ours too.
