Once Again!
Darkness covers the sky like a blanket.
Birds retire to their nest
Except the evil ones that are restless
During these nights;
Everyone is expected to be indoors
Mothers wait anxiously to lock their doors
Whiles fathers smoke their last pipe
“Nsuo Kwamina”
Would soon scare us with a roar
At the gnashing of its teeth, everyone runs for cover.
What annoys me, are the pictures it would take
Not forgetting the havoc, before daybreaks
Roofs would be gone, with people missing
Oh! Nsuo Kwamina,
Don’t you have any remorse?
If you don’t care for the old
What about the young?
We only prayed for your rain
...But now, you leave us with no home.
Oh! “Nsuo Kwamina” Are you are curse or a blessing?
