A people that do not have a knowledge of their past is a people without a future. A people that do not also recognize the input of their leaders particularly those with practical pragmatic philosophies that guide and guard their everyday dealings with the men they meet, with the very nucleus of society, the man who you meet in church or mosque, the woman who you buy your kenkey from at the Kasapin market, Mallam Saeed, the caretaker of Adwoa Minkan's farm at Awewoho-Manhyia.
As Christian as you may be, the bible admonishes us to pray for our leaders, that the grace of God abound so strong with them and that the resurrection power of Christ will lead them, ordering their steps in the word of God so that the nation, community that we live in will experience the peace that passes all understanding that is only gotten from God, the divine and most gracious.
The challenge of our politics has been without a will; without a purpose of its own, for all this length of time. Because of that we have developed few men who are able to understand the strenuousness of the age in which we live. Where can we find in this race of ours real men. Men of character, men of purpose, men of confidence, men of faith, men who really know themselves?
Hon Alhaji Mohammed Doku is indeed a David of our time. Always waiting patiently for the will of God to prevail in all his dealings. A man after Gods own heart.
Exodus 18:21 read.."But select capable men from all the people-men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain- and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens"
I have come across so many weaklings who profess to be leaders, and in the test I have found them but the slaves of a nobler class. They perform the will of their masters without question.
When man fails to grasp his authority he sinks to the level of the lower animals, and whatsoever the real man bids him do, even as if it were of the lower animals, that much shall he do. If he says "go." He goes. If he says "come," he comes. By this command he performs the functions of life even as by a similar command the mule, the horse, the cow perform the will of their masters.
Asunafo North will speak on the 7th of November 2016 on her future, in the way that the will of the people will be managed, on who to captain her to the land of milk and honey, a period or stage where we will rise above all level of pettiness, a period where all communities within the constituency will be with electricity, connected to the great Akosombo built by Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, the greatest African that has ever lived on the surface of the continent.
The choice will be the major determinant that will propel Goaso as the aristocratic-all capital of Ahafo and Mim the Industrial capital.
