President Atta Mills Is In Over His Head

I am Ghanaian (who relocated to Ghana, from the USA, about 3 years ago) and I have been extremely frustrated by the depreciation of the Ghana Cedi this year, 2012. In dollar terms, I have lost a lot of money since January 2012 and I am sure my follow Ghanaians have suffered the same fate.

I blame the Attah Mills led government for the depreciation of the cedi because of

(1) Poor economic and fiscal policies implementation

(2) Massive corruption such as the payment of dubious judgment debts to government ''financial backers''

(3) Incompetent and inexperienced government appointees to several sensitive institutions such as Fiifi Kwetey (Deputy Minister of Finance); Allotey Jacobs (Electricity of Ghana's (ECG) board member); Ama Benyiwa Doe (Central Region Minister); KOKU ANYIDOHO (Communications Director at the Presidency)..etc etc

(4) etc etc

I was very excited when Ghana had a change of government in 2008 because Atta Mills (now president), promised good people of Ghana economic heaven. However, so far he has not been able to maintain the standards in which he found Ghanaians, but now he is sending Ghanaians straight to an economic HELL...I hope the discerning people of Ghana would make the right choice come December 2012.

Bottom-line: PRESIDENT ATTAH MILLS IS IN OVER HIS HEAD.
