President "Yentie Obiaa" Mahama Now Wants To Listen

On his recent tour to Ashanti region to inspect the non existent ongoing projects in the region, President "YENTIE OBIAA" Dramamani Mahamah's twenty car motorcade entourage blared the newly released Daddy Lumba's song, "Yentie obiaa" on mounted speakers on top of four wheel drive cars that escorted the President from the Kumasi Airport to the NDC Kumasi headquarters where he supposedly blurted his diarrhea of the mouth insults to Kumasi residents or Asantes depending on which 'doctored' tape you have listened to.

The President, a Gonja who speaks Twi fluently, courtesy of his marriage to Lordina, a Twi speaking lady cannot be excused for not understanding the meaning of "Yentie obiaa" which means "WE WILL NOT LISTEN TO ANYBODY". At a time when the meat on the bone of Ghana's economy has been chewed and Dramani Mahama and his Ndc looting clan are now sucking the marrow from the bone, it is uncaring , cheeky and an insult to Ghanaians for Dramani Mahama to have this pompous attitude of "we will not listen to anybody"

According to sources close to the President, not only is Dramani Mahama in love with this song and that I am not surprised if you watch the video of this song with Daddy Lumba doing his usual grinding with the scantily clad young girls, something the elevator eyed Dramani has not grown out of despite his middle age status.

The sad part is that, NDC intend to use the "YENTIE OBIAA" song as their official campaign song for 2016.This doesn't surprise me a bit because the same party used "ede bi keke" or "YEEKO DI BI KEKE"(we are going to spend your money haphazardly) a clear message that they will involve themselves in corrupt endevours, Ghanaians still voted for them so why not continue to insult our intelligence.

According to the Ashanti Regional Minister, the song was specifically chosen because of the lyrics and the message it carries, which, he said, was in line with the President?s tour. What message does it carry, Mr. Regional Minister? That the Ashanti Region did not vote for him so he will not listen to them? The MCE of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu said almost the same thing; "Good songs certainly play vital roles during campaign seasons and as the 2016 looms around the corner, the NDC has stepped up their game by revealing that they would be adopting Daddy Lumba's song "Yentie Obiaa" as their official campaign song.

Mr. Kojo Bonsu, the Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive Officer, made this revelation last week at the Regional Coordinating Council in Kumasi." Mahama should stop thumbing his nose at us and then cowardly backpeddle like Micheal Jackson in his moonwalk video by employing his schoolboy Ministers to defend him as Okudzeto Ablakwah did on this issue.

“Where from all these government officials who are saying the President likes the song and so on; saying we will adopt it as our campaign song. I think we have to be serious because this is totally needless. Has the campaign team been formed? I think it was miscalculated and not tactful. We have to read the mood of the country… What I am not impressed about is the president's handlers and all those who were speaking about the issue," Hon Okudzeto said on Radio Gold’s political platform, Alhaji and Alhaji"

Did Okudzeto speak with the President before issuing this denial? If the President did not like the song why did the President's convoy is reported to have blared the popular song on loud speakers ostensibly to cast insinuations at critics?

After telling Ghanaians he will not listen to anybody, Dramani Mahama's administration is organizing an Economic forum and has invited all Ghanaians of different political persuasions to attend and offer them advice about how best to solve the myriad of Economic problems confounding the country.

The largest Opposition party, The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has boycotted the 'National Economic Forum'." Announcing the decision to boycott the event at a press conference in Accra on Monday, the National Chairman of the party Paul Afoko said the NPP is committed towards consensus building and partnership in national development but would not be part of a "deliberate propaganda and PR gimmick, to hoodwink the good people of Ghana in the face of monumental hardships we have been subjected to."

According to the Chairman of the party Paul Afoko,NPP received an invitation from the seat of government to be part of a National Economic Forum that is scheduled to begin on 12th of May 2014. The letter signed by the executive secretary to the president was dated the 2nd of May, 2014. In spite of the short distance between the flagstaff house and the NPP party headquarters, it took more than a week for the letter to be hand delivered. "This shows a lack of seriousness on the part of the government towards this important national exercise." Mr Afoko said.

Mr Afoko further wrote,As a credible opposition party we shall continue to provide workable alternatives to the management of our national economy. Governance is a serious undertaking and it is expected of the President to attach the highest level of seriousness to it.We love Ghana intensely and we love to serve but it is clear this is a PR gimmick and we therefore unequivocally decline the invitation to participate.

As usual with these NDC young zealots who have found themselves in the corridors of power by issuing idiotic statements,the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Board, Kojo Twum Boafo, has dared the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to attend the National Economic Forum and prove their mettle if they have ideas.According to him, government can do with or without the NPP to find a lasting solution to the present socio-economic challenges in the country.

“NPP has no ideas; the formula they used when in government will not work today,” he stressed.

Mr Twum Barimah, if the NDC knew NPP cannot contribute any meaningful solutions confronting the country, why invite them in the first place? Will it not be a waste of time and Taxpayers money to house and feed at least ten people NPP would have sent to Akosombo for four days at a time when government cannot even pay its workers? This is not logical and logic seems to be one ingredient that is missing from this clueless Dramani Mahamah kakistocracy administration.
