The National Nasara Coordinator of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kamal-Deen Abdulai has shot down on the propaganda going round following the president’s encounter with the media on Wednesday saying the president was been honest, truthful and sincere.

Kamal-Deen -who is also aspiring to become the party’s National Youth Organiser - commenting on the encounter on GTV’s current affairs and News Analysis program the Breakfast Show stated that the president could not have been more truthful than the answers he provided to the barrage of questions thrown at him during the President’s meet the press encounter.

Fred Agbenyo, a member of the opposition NDC’s communication team had impugn on the show that the president was been dodgy in the production of his answers to some of the questions posed by the media. He made specific reference to questions posed on the National Identification System, the Brazil World Cup fiasco, the GITMO 2 and others and stated the president couldn’t provide satisfactory answers.

But Kamal-Deen insisted that the president could not have been jack of all trades and that is why he has appointed people to work with him. “The president is but a single man, that is why he has appointees to deal with other issues.” He stated. “His answers were the most honest, truthful and sincere. To have a president who will not speculate but say this I don’t have an answer on it, on this, this is my answer, such man is the most honest president one can have,” he added.
