The International Movement Against Same-Sex has taken notice of statements made by the out-going acting commissioner of CHRAJ, Madam Anna Bossman. Members of the Movement read the unfortunate comments attributed to Anna Bossman against the clergy who have openly and boldly discuss and exposed the dangers associated with gay and lesbian (homosexual) practices on myjoyonline.com and ghanaweb. Anna Bossman in expressing her views on homosexuality on pm Express on multi-tv took a swipe at pastors who have fairly criticized homosexuality. She singled a Reverend Minister who said gays compete with babies for diapers and noted that it is a HATE message against homosexuals. In the opinion of IMASS Anna Bossman could not differentiate a HATE message and mere EXPOSING OF DANGERS that comes with the practice of an evil and illegal act. The outgoing CHRAJ boss deemed as an astute lawyer should better have not dirty the waters by making those scurrilous statements. In her opinion, there are many sexual and domestic abuses that the clergy should speak against and not what adults decide to do. This statement is hogwash. IMASS want to know if Anna Bossman is the one who sets an agenda for the clergy?. The Movement wants to enquire from her what she did about those abuses when she had every power as CHRAJ boss for years. Why is she turning blind eye to the laws of Ghana that incriminates homosexuality? Is Anna Bossman aware of the many diseases, socio-economic, spiritual and psychological effects of homosexuality? Why is she so worried that the clergy has spoken against an evil creeping into our society? IMASS called on Anna Bossman to rather end the HATE message against the clergy and rather use her GOD given knowledge to champion positive course and stop behaving to be wiser than GOD.IMASS further charge her to humbly apologize to the clergy for churning abusive language on them. IMASS commend the bold and courageous clergy for speaking against same-sex in the country and urge them not to feel intimidated by any person or group of persons.
