Red Cards In Parliament Not For Mills,

But For Nana Akuffo Addo – Part 2
The NPP Minority Caucus in Parliament see the 2012 general election as a Do or Die affair. They are so desperate to come to power that if care is not taken, the country’s peace can suffer a rude shock but they lie bad, the government will never sit down and allow them to drive the country back to the bloody (NLM) “Mate-meho” days in our political life where thousands of innocent men, women and children who were perceived as non-Asantes were brutally slaughtered like animals in Kumasi and Kyebi in the Ashanti and Eastern Regions. To the Minority Caucus and the NPP leadership, the 2012 election is going to be WAR either conventional or orthodox. It is DESPERATION that is facing the Party’s propaganda machine to behave like a drowning man who will even cling to a snake in order to save his life. Every trivial matter that occurs in the body politic is quickly picked on by the party and blown out of all proportion in order to undermine the Credibility of the Mills’ administration. The behavior of the Minority Caucus and the NPP’s policy of making the country ungovernable is in FULL GEAR and that was clearly demonstrated in Parliament by these Political Novices and tribal bigots in the Minority Caucus in Parliament. Apart from Akans, who told them that when other tribes in Ghana are mourning, they always wear Red and Black? We have seen the politics of the Judiciary, the operations of many newly formed politically motivated so – called Civil Society organisations like the Alliance for Attacking Government (AFAG) leading the various demonstrations. The politically motivated Demonstrations that have been going on for the past 3 years cannot be divorced from these politically motivated societies.
In addition to this, Pro – NPP print and electronic media have once again intensified their negative media propaganda against the NDC administration led by President Mills. During the NPP administration led by Prez. Kufuor, he never mentioned the name or gave Credit to the NDC under former President Rawlings when inaugurating projects initiated by his predecessor. He rather told Ghanaians that Rawlings ruled Ghana for almost 20years and did nothing. Today, Mills is openly teaching them true statesmanship and true democracy by given Credit to the NPP whenever he Commission Projects initiated by them by inviting Ex-Prez. Kufuor to join him to cut the sod. Ghanaians are watching all these reconciliatory measures taken by the President and will refuse to show Mills the exit in 2012 as requested by the overconfident NPP Minority Caucus who threw all Parliamentary ethics to the wind and behaved like a bunch of class one children who got drunk during an X-mas season. If Nana Akuffo Addo should become Ghana’s next President, then Professor Mills must rule for the next 30 years like Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe because we don’t need an extremely hot headed militant who is so arrogant that nothing Stops him from willfully resorting to arson in his own constituency. E.G. when he was elected as a Member of Parliament in the Abuakwa South Constituency, Nana Akuffo Addo led NPP thugs to burn down the NDC Constituency office at Kyebi with impunity. During the 2008 general elections, they chased all the NDC members into the bush with guns and cutlasses. In the year 2002, the same Nana Akuffo Addo told students at Legon that “The NPP government will search for skeletons in the cupboards of all former ministers of the Rawlings regime, and that if there were no skeletons at all, they (NPP government) will put some there.” They failed in their diabolic agenda to destroy the NDC. How can such a character become Ghana’s President? Perhaps, now that the NDC is in power, and has turned the Gun against itself, fighting like Crabs in a bucket amidst character assassinations unsubstantiated allegations, constant vilification of innocent people while those who matter most in the Party and government play the ostrich, the NPP may then succeed in snatching power from the NDC without threats of violence or war, and when that happens, God forbid, the NDC will be doomed for ever and ever, and the threats of violence and war by the NPP and its ‘All die be die’ slogan will become redundant.
During the PNDC era, Flt. Lt. Rawlings once said; “I want to see 12 million wealthy people in Ghana, not 5million wealthy people, whilst the rest are dying of poverty”. Ghana’s population in 1982 was then 12 million people by then. However, when Ghana returned to constitutional rule in 1992, the Danquah/Busia cartel which the NPP represent today – 2012 deliberately TWISTED what Rawlings meant and rather put an ANTI-RICH TAG ON HIM from 1992 to date 2012.
It will be recalled that the first act of Ex-President Kufuor was to throw high paying jobs to Journalists who had none of the qualifications required for those positions. All the Journalists who used their newspapers to help the then Candidate Kufuor to run down President Rawlings government were rewarded by the NPP government with high positions and given financial boost to their business. They because Chief Executives of Public Boards and Corporations, Special Assistants and Ministers of State while others became beneficiaries of scholarship schemes. 98% of those Journalists and Social Commentators who kept Ex-Prez. Kufuor in power by overlooking his UNSATISFACTORY governance and was rather constantly attacking the Rawlings NDC regime after he handed over to Kufuor in 2001 were all on government payroll receiving fat salaries at the expense of the tax payer from 2001 – 2008. This is the main reason that the NPP government was described as a Media Friendly Government. In the NDC, IT DOES NOT EXIST AT ALL, and with the current DIS-UNITY, I don’t ever think the NDC leadership and government will EVER MOOT THIS LAUDABLE IDEA. I have been a victim and is still A VICTIM of Character Assassination in my own Political Party – The NDC, just because I am a Cadre but I wont stop it because God is behind me. President Mills complained to Ghanaians that he know he would be heckled when he goes to Present the State of the Nation Address, but he never expected a gargantuan heckling. Why should your government be arresting drug barons who sponsor the NPP to ensure their victory in 2012 and you expect not to be heckled gargantuanly? Red Cards or No Red Cards, President Mills and the NDC Government must continue arresting the drug barons and damn the consequences. Keep it up Mr. President Ghanaians are fully behind you. Is any body listening? I am done. Aluta Continua! Jaanbie Iwaii.
