Columnist: Biakoye, Nana
As for me Nana Biakoye, I will not stop praising my maker while I have breath.
O yes, I will not stop praising my maker for giving us a President in the person of Professor John Evans Atta Mills.
“Asomdwehene be dis?” Swa!!!
Honestly, President Atta Mills does not cease to amaze me.
I have always respected the President but day in day out, he continues to amaze me and my respect for him grows by the second.
So, His Excellency President Atta Mills agreed for Ghanaians to be ferried Angola to go and support the Black Stars in the final match?
And the President Agreed that it should be a Ghanaian affair and that all the political sides must be represented?
President Atta Mills; God bless you ooo, God bless you!
This move is unprecedented in modern day Ghana.
In the days of Ataa Ayi K4, there is no way such a thing would have happened.
Only, sex mates, concubines, drug barons, homosexuals, pedophiles, wife-snatchers, husband-snatchers, wee-smokers,, cocaine-sniffers, serial callers, stomach journalists, and party apparatchiks, would have been on the trip.
Indeed, it is Ataa Ayi K4’s stinking and immoral governance style that made “ashawo” Catherine Afeku open her stinking mouth and say that the women who were on the trip to Angola were “hadbags”, “laptops” and “comforters”.
Since Catherine Afeku has decided to foolishly “bring herself”, she should be ready for the things that will hit her.
We shall soon be taking the lid off Catherine Afeku’s sexcapades with a journalist in a car.
O yes, Catherine Afeku was caught having raw sex with a journalist in a car.
Meanwhile, it is a matter of fact that a court of competent jurisdiction in Ghana has found Catherine Afeku guilty of defrauding an American couple and she has been asked to refund the money with interest.
In fact, in the ruling, the presiding judge actually wrote that Catherine Afeku is not “fit to hold public office.”
Is it not strange that a criminal like Catherine Afeku is a member of Ghana’s Parliament? Ow Ghana!!!
If Catherine Afeku has a big fat cotton wool up her anus but decides to jump over fire, that is her own wahala.
She has asked for it; and she will get it!
Of course, if the kapwepwe had mistakenly been given the mandate to move Ghana forward into more wee and cocaine, there is no way any member of the opposition would have gotten close to the airport let alone be aboard a chartered plane to go and support the Black Stars.
I hear the trip was made up of 50 NDC; 25 NPP; 10 PNC; 10 CPP; 7 Ministers cum Presidential Staffers; 6 from National Sports Council; 30 journalists; 7 NDC Parliamentarians; 5 NPP Parliamentarians; 3 Islamic Cleric; 11 Women Activists; 3 from the Judiciary; 2 from NUGS; 18 Security Personnel, and 102 sports fans.
Let anybody come out and tell me that this is not a fair representation of Ghanaians.
Some people may not like this style of governance but I have no doubt that the majority of Ghanaians respect President Atta Mills for his effort at uniting the nation and making sure that extreme partisanship does not define our existence.
I am NDC and I am proud.
I dislike the narcotics peddlers and I don’t hide it.
But when certain decisions must be taken in the greater interest of the nation, I think that we should live above NDC/NPP politics.
President John Evans Ataa Mills; may God Almighty continue to fill you with wisdom for you to move Ghana on the path of righteousness and for you to build the Better Ghana that you promised.
“Wor tse Atta Mills, Nyumor adjoor bo ojogban!!!”
Surely; a Better Ghana is being built and we are moving forward in the right direction.
