The Election Of Delegates

The recent concern expressed by some Aspirants about the nature of the Delegates for the NPP December congress has necessitated the need for all Regional and Constituency Executives to be mindful about the procedure to use in the selection or election of Delegates. To avoid any friction and a possible court action, I will urge all regional and constituency executives to do the following;

1.Call the Electoral Commission to monitor the election of Delagates.

2.All Aspirants should be notified to send their representative/s to monitor the election of Delegates.

3.Balloting will be the best method to elect Delegates

4.All the 4(four) executive members selection/election process should be the same as that of the 6(six) Polling Station Chairpersons

5.Each Aspirant should be given the provisional list of the Delegates after the election. (The National Executive can within their stipulated 2weeks prior notice? then hand over the official list to all the Aspirants)

6.Aspirants? representatives should sign the provisional list of the Delegates just after the election.

The old ways where some Delegates are handpicked or delegates list are altered during congress should be avoided. I sincerely believe, among others, if the above measures are taken it will avoid the speculation that the selection process will favour one particular Aspirant.
