Kwesi Pratt, the so-called Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper has vowed to do everything in his power to ensure Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings never becomes president of Ghana. >>IF AKWESI PRATT IS NOT MERELY DAY DREAMINGLY TALKING NONSENSE, THEN I WILL LIKE TO KNOW HOW HE CAN IMPLEMENT THIS.

Admitting he is just a common journalist and has no power though, Mr Pratt said he is prepared to do anything he can to ensure the former first lady does not become president. >>KAWESI! He was speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo Friday, in reaction to reports suggesting that Mrs Rawlings has formally indicated her interest in contesting President Mills come 2012. >>AND SO WHAT, IS MILLS NOT CONTESTABLE OR HE HAS AMMENDED THE NDC CONSTITUTION TO BECOME A LIFE FLAG BEARER?

Explaining his position, Kwesi Pratt said he knew Nana Konadu's past and her way of doing things – recalling the era of Mrs Rawlings as First Lady and some events that occurred around her, including the famous Selassie Djentuh and the 'identification haircut'. >>YOU SEE! Again, Kwesi Pratt said he was threatened by thugs working for the former first lady because he criticised her and questioned whether Konadu was going to rule by the mob and employ such old tricks of threats and intimidation when she is given the nod to rule the Ghanaians. >>AND SO WHAT? THE THUGS FOR MILLS (NDC 2, TEAM B ) ALSO CRASHED RAWLINGS (NDC 1, TEAM A) THUGS AT A RADIO STATION, IS THIS NONSENSE YOUR ONLY COMPLAIN ABOUT NANA KONADU? I AM AFRAID, IF KWESI PRATT IS NOT MAKING A MOCKERY OF HIMSELF BY TRYING TO THROW DUST.

Pratt wondered if she, Konadu wants to be president with that character, questioning if anyone in the land will have peace and comfort. >>KWESI! Kwesi Pratt further explained that he believes Konadu's quest to ascend to the presidency is not based on claims that Mills is under performing. This, according to him, is because ex-president Rawlings started his harsh criticisms of the president barely two months into his administration. >>A GOOD ONE THERE! THIS IS THE REASON WHY AGYEMANG RAWLINGS WANTS TO OUTPLAY THE NDC 2 TO RELEASE THE PEOPLE OF GHANA FROM AGONY.

He reminded Nana Konadu that even if she wins the flag bearer-ship position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) – a situation Pratt views as very unlikely to happen – she would have to depend on the achievements of the Mills-Mahama administration to succeed. >>OH! KWESI, I THOUGHT YOU ARE GOING TO MOVE MOUNTAINS TO COUNTERACT KONADU'S INVOLVEMENT

He added that Konadu, by her quest for power, is courting disaster which is neither in her own interest nor that of the party and urged all who love the former first lady to give her a sound advice since she is going to be disgraced should she carry on with her desire. >>WHY SHOULD OTHER PEOPLE ADVISE KONADU, YOU HAVE PROMISED TO USE YOUR USUAL HOOLIGANISM TO BULLY KONADU. Pratt: Konadu won't even get 10 per cent, he assured, adding that Konadu's quest for power “… is based on an empty ambition.” >>KWESI!
