The NPP Must Bow In Shame….

…….As they tickle themselves and laugh!!!!

Some few months ago it became a centre of all public discourse in the NPP circles, when a question posed to the President by a reporter of Joy fm as to how he will grade himself for the 100 days said; he will give himself 80%. Indeed, the NPP said they’ve never heard it before and for that matter 80% was over estimation.

It is therefore exceptionally ludicrous, for a political party that claimed it was wrong to commend your own efforts, is today practicing the same thing. The degree of hypocrisy in the NPP is unprecedented in the history of this country’s body politic. People have said that it is as a result of the immense frustration and for that matter desperation following the 2008 election defeat; on the contrary it is lack of principles, ideology and absolute disregard for human welfare and peaceful co-existence.

It must placed on record that, Nana Akufo-Addo’s realizing that his chances of leading the NPP into the next polls is less likely or non-existent he thought it wise to start his campaign early, by establishing a group called Akyem For Akufo-Addo Group (AFAG). This group was formed to mimic the Youth Alliance for Ghana (YAG) formed by Alan Kyeremateng in 2007 to champion his flagbearership ambition. some of the members of the NPP who pro- Isaac Osei, MP for Subin who is also eyeing the flagbearership of the NPP also formed a group calling itself Committee for Democratic Movement (CDM), indeed this group was formed so quickly that they couldn’t even realize that a committee cannot be used concurrently with a movement. This alarmed Nana Akufo-Addo of the need to expand its scope from the Akyem biasness to Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG), so that he can win the support of the Ashanti’s as well, since Alan and Isaac Osei are all Ashanti. But in all this my greatest dismay is that fact that AFAG calls itself a CSO whiles it is not and cannot be.

As part of the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo’s bid to make the country ungovernable and for that matter the NDC unpopular, they have since January 7 peddled gross falsehood about issues of public concern and empasize the unholy need for people to loose confidence in the NDC and the countries economy. These actions of the NPP was very loudly expressed when it called for militancy as the only way to satisfy their power hunger and deperation. Indeed, his AFAG and their allies have continued the legacy of their founder, which on 28th July, 2009 was exposed by the Youth Activist Network (YAN) of the National Democratic Congress after their press conference held at GNAT hall.

As a result of the democratic credentials of the NDC and its believe in social justice, a historic peaceful and incidence free demonstration was held by the NPP and their AFAG, but unfortunately as a result of the good work done by YAN in exposing all the lies and falsehood, they couldn’t petition the President on any relevant issue. This goes to emphasise the intent and purpose of that demonstration which was surprisingly dubbed “Atta Adadaa Yen” meaning the President have lied to us. In the first place the NPP and their allies have never believed in the President, so it is very surprising to have heard their contradictions.

To the utmost dismay of many Ghanaians, after the demonstration there were several publications in almost all the news prints dubbed NPP CONGRATULATES AFAG, this is hypocrisy at an unprecedented degree. You organize yourselves into baseless and a completely unnecessary demonstration and congratulate yourself afterwards? Who does the NPP think they are deceiving? Do they think they are deceiving Ghanaians? Have they forgotten the evidence of discernment of Ghanaians, which was shown in the 2008 polls? Hmmmm.

NPP should continue to tickle itself and laugh, before they realize they are deceiving themselves it would have been too late for their party.

Long live the truth!! Long live the Better Ghana Agenda!!! Long live Ghana!!!!!
