THE PLOT AGAINST NANA OBIRI BOAHEN BY ALBAN BAGBIN AND OTHERS
They say evil men always tremble when good men take charge of affairs. And just as darkness flees in the presence of light, Hon. Alban Bagbin and his cohorts cannot stand to see the hardworking, principled Nana Obiri Boahen appointed Minister. Alban Bagbin and N.D.C have therefore sworn to move heaven and earth to block the Mnisterial Appointment of Nana Obiri Boahen.
As one of the most notable NPP personalities in Ghana whose honesty, outspokenness, exceptional legal expertise and hard work has earned him the singular distinction of being above mediocrity, Nana Obiri Boahen is a rare breed of everything that is noble, moral and in fact a true patriotic son of Ghana. This is why the mere mention of his name sends shivers down the spine of Alban Bagbin and his NDC.
Alban Bagbin and his NDC MPs only succeed in showing their true colours by criticizing the appointment of Nana Obiri Boahen while he is the Brong Ahafo Regional Chairman of the NPP. Alban Bagbin and his group are simply hypocrites! Where was Alban Bagbin when Hon. E.T Mensah was the National Youth Organizer of the N.D.C as well as the Minister of Youth and Sports? What did he and his men say when Hon. Obed Asamoah was Minister of Justice as well as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the N.D.C? What about Hon. Kofi Attor who was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy General Secretary of the N.D.C at the same time?
Is it not clear that Alban Bagbin is at his game as usual? Well it is not surprising because we are talking about the Minority Opposition Leader who thinks his role is simply to criticize everything the NPP does and throw dust in the eyes of Ghanaians. This is the same incestuous Hon. Alban Bagbin who had sex with the younger sister of his wife, impregnating the poor girl and then came up with the lame excuse that it is an acceptable practice in his village to have sex with the sister of one’s wife! This is unbelievably shameful to hear from a man who makes laws for Ghana, a country where incest is illegal and in fact a taboo. I wonder why Alban Bagbin has not resigned in shame and yet has the effrontery to criticize others. The good people of Ghana will be the better judge.
