In the year 1999, I wrote a book titled: 'The Day of the Lord is near'. In that book, I said, the people of our time have fulfilled all the prophecies of the book of Revelation from chapter six verse 1 to chapter 16 verse 12.
At that time, I said, the only event separating us from the Day of the Lord was chapter 16 verses 13 to16. On September 11th 2001, this event occurred, and I explained it in the Graphic newspaper of 1st July 2002.
The Coronavirus pandemic has brought us to Chapter 16 verse 19a. The second part of verse 19 is what engineers would call the start sequence to the Day of the Lord.
Explanation of revelation 16:17-19a
Quotation: 'The seventh angel poured his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, "It is done!".
And there were flashes of lightning, voices, pearls of thunder, and a great earthquake such as had never been since men were on the earth, so great was that earthquake. The Great City was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell'.
Explanation
The seventh angel poured his bowl into the air. The pandemic is a virus that is caught when one moves out of his/her home. The experts say, the virus does not move but you meet it as you get out.
There were flashes of lightning, voices, pearls of thunder, and a great earthquake, such as had never been since men were on the earth, so great was that earthquake - The Coronavirus pandemic is exactly like an earthquake. An earthquake has an epicentre and moves in various directions. The pandemic began in Wuhan spreading to all nations of the world with other epicentres such as Milan, New York and Rio.
The Great City was split into three parts and the cities of the nations fell.
When the pandemic began, all the cities of every country went into lockdown to stop the spread, thus shutting down all the cities of the world. Cities that never slept like New York and others became like ghost towns.
What is next?
Chapter 16 verse 19b say: 'God remembered Babylon and made her drink the wine from his cup - the wine of his furious anger'. This is the start sequence for the Great Day of the Lord, as the engineers would put it.
The destruction of Babylon the great is now beyond redemption, but what brought us to this? The creation and use of the Beast have made the souls of men very vulnerable and the Lord very angry. As you can see, the head of the Beast that had the mortal wound and was healed has become very clear.
The television set with the cathode ray tube like a mortal wound has now become the flat screen. The image of the flat screen which we call the mobile phone gets signal from the ICT system so that it can talk and do many wonderful things.
These 'see/hear' devices are making man have ears and eyes but cannot see or hear.
The three hypotheses of the beast
In my book, The Day of the Lord is near, I quoted a sixteenth-century Russian Hermit St Nilus who wrote about our time and said: the Beast will deceive us in three hypotheses.
The three hypotheses are this: If I take their eyes and ears, Then I can take their hearts and minds and strength and soul, Then they will worship me with all their minds, hearts, souls and strength.
That is why the Lord is angry. He says, listen oh Israel, the Lord our God is the one Lord, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.
If we challenge the Lord for the heart of man, for whom he sacrificed his life, then we are touching the very puple of his eyes.
Conclusion
All the Prophets talked about what is going to happen. The Prophet Isaiah made several prophecies about it.
Isaiah 46:10-11 says, 'From the beginning, I predicted the outcome; long ago I foretold what would happen. I said that my plans would never fail, that I would do everything I intended to do.
I am calling a man to come from the east; he will swoop down like a hawk and accomplish what I have planned. I have spoken, and it will be done.' This is about to happen!
