The instillation of the sense of patriotism and ....

nationalism in ghanaians

Ghana must tackle the problem of disunity in the form of diversification of cultures in the country through the popularization of our symbolic national recitations that carry great messages to be instilled in the lives of Ghanaians. The popularization of these symbolic and significant national recitations will ensure unity helping us to rise above the country’s developmental weakness caused by diversification of culture.

First of all is The national anthem that states “Hail the Name of Ghana, God Bless Our Homeland Ghana and make our nation Great and Strong, bold to stand forever for the cause of Freedom and of Right; Fill our Hearts with True Humility and make us cherish Fearless Honesty and GOD HELP US TO RESIST OPPRESSORS' RULE WITH ALL OUR WILL AND MIGHT FOR EVERMORE”.

The pledge that states “I promise on my honour to be faithful and loyal to Ghana my motherland. I PLEDGE MYSELF TO THE SERVICE OF GHANA WITH ALL MY STRENGTH AND WITH ALL MY HEART. I promise to hold in High Esteem, Our Heritage won for us through the blood and toil of our fathers, and I pledge myself in all things to uphold and stand for the good name of Ghana. So help me God.

The most outstanding of all is the Arise Ghana Youth recitation that states that “Arise Ghana youth for your country because The nation requires your hardwork, Let all unite to uphold Ghana and make here great and strong, We are all involved in building our motherland!”

Also I am in assurance that Ghanaians as a country recognizes the significance of the popularization of the Adinkra symbols which possess great messages to instill Godliness, God’s presence and protection, Supremacy of God, love, peace, faithfulness, harmony, unity, learning from the past (SANKOFA), strength, energy, freedom and emancipation, endurance, humility, perseverance, friendship, happiness, greatness, charisma, leadership, independence, resourcefulness, wisdom, , foresight, support, cooperation, encouragement, creativity, versatility, adaptability, diligence, good marriage, nurturing, discipline, commitment, bravery, valor, life transformation/renewal/rebirth, safety and security, patience, tolerance and so many more.

THIS IS THE WAY FORWARD, WAKE UP GHANAIANS!
