You embarked on a trip to China, cajoled their government to assist the country with $3 billion, you trekked back home, amidst pump and pageantry, your gullibility-laden party faithfuls welcomed you at the airport.
You came home, went to sleep soundly, hoping against improbable hope that manna would fall from China, knowing very well that you needed to push harder before the money would be disbursed.
The Chinese government piteously felt our heartaches, headaches and frustrations and came to our rescue with a fraction of the agreed sum.
You misappropriated the funds, informing the Chinese government to hold on with the rest.
You're in a trance because affable Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Ghana's Vice President, has brokered the best deal with the Chinese over the remaining amount of the one you negotiated for, and that is even a precursor of what the Chinese government has agreed to give to us for our industrial revolution.
A palatable chunk of $15 billion in total has been agreed upon, and you have a problem with this?
Blame the fact that your party and government was bereft of brains skilled enough to trigger such a transformational event!
Blame your decrepit leadership style which plunged Ghana into this irremediably quagmary situation.
You instituted and patented corruption as a flagship project, making Ghana unattractive to investors out there.
You failed so you are fervently praying for the Akufo-Addo administration to also flounder in its bid to liberate the people from the economic mess with which you bathed them!
Success is gradually tilting towards this administration. Steadily, things are taking shape. We are not oblivious of the fact that we are not there yet, but it is a matter of time, we shall reach our destination.
If I were you, my preoccupation would be to unify my disjointed NDC party instead of these comedically envious posturing of yours! Invidia is your middle name.
