Regarding the Ghanaweb article published on Sunday, 9 May 2010 “ where did Kufuor get his millions of dollars”; It is very sad indeed that people like this illiterate Alhassan Mallam Inusah who has no Knowledge in politics can write this trash in Ghanaweb to confuse Ghanaians on how a sitting president cannot raise funds for his party’s presidential candidate. As the saying always goes,“ It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” The same thing sometimes goes in politics. It is much easier for a sitting president to raise millions of dollars to finance his party’s general elections than for this Akufo Addo sycophant Alhassan, brush his stinking teeth in the morning.
Nananum, Ladies and gentleman let it be know to the politician wanabee’s in the entire nation that politics is not a street business; it requires education which one needs to learn in a classroom with a knowledgeable teacher, books, research and hard work. My peaceful advice to this knucklehead gutter politician Alhassan Mallam Inusah is that he needs to go back to elementary school and learn some nitty-gritty in politics. Ironically, this idiot Alhassan does not know that John Agykum Kufuor has a BA in political science as his first degree from Great Britain, where they teach students in political science courses how to raise funds to finance one’s political activity or reelections for political office holders. Even in America a 12 year old knows politicians raise funds to finance their party functions. Now this aforementioned individual, who is this 70- year- old man Akufo Addo’s supporter, has the audacity to question where Kufuor got all this money. In politics elections have consequences. Akufo Addo and his supporters should think about their abysmal disastrous campaign performance for the 2008 general election. If they don’t discontinue their ignorant utterances on kufuor, they will continue have some heartburn because their Akufo Addo cannot match with his third class economic grade Alan’s intellectual firepower, which Ghanaian’s admire in him as much as for his vision for the nation.
This Alhassan Mallam Inusah says “whether he is an NPP supporter, An Alan Kyerematen fanatic or indeed an NDC sympathizer, his utterances and posture is very similar to that of supporters of Alan Kyeremateng here in Tamale. On most radio talk shows serial callers sympathetic to the cause of Alan Kyeremateng persistently bundle this allegation about without any evidence or justification. In their campaigns in the Greater Accra Region and recently in the Ashanti Region, one of the campaign messages making the rounds has it that Akufo Addo “chopped” millions of dollars provided by Kufuor which should have been used for the electioneering campaign”. First I urge all my dangi’s meaning my brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, and the youth in Tamale including Alhassan Mallam Inusah to Alan’s dangi meaning Alan’s political family in Temale to join hands and support John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen to become the next president for Ghana. It is imperative for our nation to have such a great person as our leader because Alan is a very progressive person, a man who is a good communicator, very charismatic, energetic and unifies the nation and also attracts NDC members, independent voters and undecided voters. Alan is also not as trabalistic as your 70- year old- man Akufo Addo whose presence in the northern region during the 2008 campaign caused a political dilemma for the NPP.
However, it is true that John Agykum Kufuor did raise about 37.2 million dollars for Akufo Addo during the 2008 NPP presidential election some of which your Akufo Addo used to buy a Mercedes Benz for his girlfriend at the University of Ghana Legon. In politics courage is a disappearing commodity. If not your Akufo Addo would have come forward and admitted the millions of dollars Kufuor raise for him. Even the NDC presidential candidate Attah Mills used illegal means to raise funds for his 2008 presidential campaign and raised a lot of monies from foreign countries, which is also against our nation’s constitution. The money which Kufuor raised for Akufo Addo’s 2008 campaign was not entirely used for that purpose. Who does not know in Ghana that this 70- year- old man used some NPP campaign money to buy a Mercedes Benz for his girlfriend at the university of Ghana?. Some NDC members are also aware of Akufo Addo’s using NPP campaign money to buy properties for his concubines and his family members. The evidence of this money can be proven, in different ways. One day Akufo Addo entered his room where these millions of dollars is kept. He found his aide Mustapha Himid stealing some of the monies, slipping it into his underwear for which Akufo Addo fired him before bringing him back after the news got to the media, even knowing that what Himid did would discredit him forever. Your Akufo Addo is a barawo ni, meaning he is a thief. Instead of Akufo Addo returning the remaining NPP campaign money to the party, he has kept the money for his egocentric political ambition. I promise you that Insha Allah, your 70-year-old man Akufo Addo will never ever become the NPP flagbearer again. Allahu Akbar, Alan Kwado Kyerematen ya chi.
