Lisa Laryea, a 10-year-old girl battling stage 4 leukaemia, is receiving a lifeline after her family's desperate plea for help went viral.

Lisa, a bright student with dreams of becoming a paediatrician, was diagnosed with cancer in early November 2024, following what seemed like a simple illness.

The treatment required, including a bone marrow transplant in South Africa, was estimated at $100,000.

Unable to afford this, Lisa’s family shared their story on social media.

Their message reached Ibrahim Mahama, CEO of Engineers & Planners, who generously pledged to cover the full cost of Lisa’s treatment, including travel and medical expenses.

Lisa is set to travel to South Africa on November 21, 2024, filled with new hope for her recovery.
