Three hundred and twenty-two Doctors of Pharmacy are demanding immediate payment of their one-year allowances from the Ministry of Health (MoH).

These doctors, engaged by the Pharmacy Council on behalf of the MoH from July 2023 to July 2024, claim they haven't received any allowances during this period.

Through their lawyers, they have issued a 30-day ultimatum, threatening legal action if the payments aren't made.

The lawyers' letter emphasized that withholding these payments goes against established practice and urged the Ministry to settle the outstanding amounts promptly.
