Boundary Commission opens rehabilitated health centre at Leklebi Kame in Volta Region

On August 8, 2024, the Ghana Boundary Commission (GhBC) inaugurated a rehabilitated health center in Leklebi Kame, Volta Region.

This project, aimed at enhancing healthcare in border communities, was supported by the ECOWAS Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration (MoFARI).

The facility will benefit not only Leklebi-Kame but also neighboring Kame-Tonou in Togo.

Deputy Minister Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong praised ECOWAS and the Ghana Army for their contributions.

GhBC Commissioner Major General Emmanuel Kotia highlighted this as the first completed GhBC project and called for continued support from ECOWAS and other partners.
