A cholera outbreak in Kasoa has claimed five lives, with 30 people still hospitalized at the Kasoa Polyclinic and Mother and Child Hospital.
Awutu Senya East MCE, Anita Love Obo Amissah, urged residents to maintain cleanliness and eat healthy food to prevent further spread.
She noted that cases have been referred from Awutu Senya West and Gomoa East, emphasizing the need for a joint effort.
Environmental Officer Godson Lodo advised traders and food vendors to keep their surroundings clean and serve hot food to curb the outbreak.
